| The research of the spatial distribution patterns and the correlation of the population in the forest community will help to reveal the structural characteristics of the population and internal ecological processes,the purpose is to infer trends of population,and then to understand forest community species diversity maintenance and coexistence mechanism.The community species composition,floristic characteristics and diameter class structure were investigated in 1hm2 coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest in South Taiyue Mountain,Shanxi of China.Using Ripley’L function in point pattern analysis,it analyzed the spatial distribution pattern and spatial association of the main populations..The results of the study are as follow:(1)A total of 100 10 × 10 m samples were investigated in the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest of southern Taiyue Mountain.A total of 1460 tree species were investigated.The sample in the investigation of woody plants belonging to 41 families71 genera and 76 species,and mainly of them were Rosaceae,Ranunculaceae,Labiatae,Leguminosae,Compositae and Liliaceae.The distribution types of the families and genera were mainly the Cosmopolitanand North Temperate.The importance value of the top4 Quercus wutaishanica,Quercus dentata,Pinus tabulaeformis and Populus davidiana relative dominance were 78%,which were the main species of the forest.From the point of view of the whole community structure,species composition is more abundant,herbaceous species are the most,followed by shrubs,trees are the least.Among them,the number of Quercus wutaishanica was the highest in 483 plants,which had a dominant position in the community.(2)The average DBH of all individuals in the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest of southern Taiyue Mountain is 10.15 cm.The total diameter of the forest was similar to the normal distribution.The number of small diameter in the forest is the largest,the number of medium diameter is the second,and the number of large diameter was less.The population size of the four main tree species is also close to the normal distribution,the number of individuals is the highest in the third level peak.(3)The tree species in the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest in the south of Taiyue Mountain showed a regular distribution pattern.The spatial distribution types of Quercus wutaishanica and Quercus dentata were consistent,and they were clumped distribution in the middle and small scale,and they were randomly distributed on the large scale.Pattern characterization of plaque aggregation of Pinus tabulaeformis and Populus davidiana.The spatial distribution pattern of the main tree species in different growth stages showed that the small trees showed a gathered distribution in the whole scale,and the middle tree and the old tree increased from the gathered to the random distribution by the increase of scale.The small trees and middle trees of Quercus wutaishanica and Quercus dentata population were a regular distribution at the middle and small scale,and the old trees showed random distribution on the large scale.The populations of Pinus tabulaeformis and Populus davidiana are basically randomly distributed on the whole scale.(4)In the south of coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest plots,Quercus wutaishanica population and the other 3 species were mainly in the small scale showed significant positive correlation,with the increase of scale is not related.Pinus tabulaeformis and Populus davidiana showed aggregated distribution within a certain scale.The main tree species showed a positive correlation at a certain scale,and Quercus dentata,Pinus tabulaeformis and Populus davidiana were significantly positively correlated on the whole scale.The spatial correlation of the main tree species in different growth stages is mainly positive correlation.The spatial correlation of species in different growth stages of the main tree species is positively correlated andirrelevant with the change of scale in the whole study scale.The young trees of Quercus wutaishanica and Quercus dentata,the young trees of Quercus wutaishanicaand the middle trees of Quercus dentata,the middle trees of Quercus wutaishanica and Quercus dentata in the whole scale showed a significant positive correlation.All trees species showed the relatively steady state in the south ofTaiyue Mountain,Shanxi. |
