The experiment is based on the native Festuca ovina L.in Hohhot and Introduced Festuca species(Houndog V),statistical analysising of changes of the Simpson index and the changes of physiological and biochemical indicators at the favourable environment hypothesis and the different trim frequency, different planting density and different temperature processing in spatial heterogeneity hypothesis. To come to the conclusion of the effects of various processing factor on the competition and survivability between native Festuca ovina L.and Introduced Festuca species. To explore how to effectively protect the native wild fescue. And to explore how to effectively improve its disadvantages,to play its advantages. The conclusion as below:The native wild fescue's cold resistance is better than Houndog V but the resistance of pruning is poor than the Houndog V.And in the case of growing density gradually increased, the native wild fescue's competitive weaker than Houndog V.So as the Hohhot native wild variety, the native wild fescue has a good cold resistance,so it can be considered as a material to studing Breeding Direction of turfgrass.Throughing improved optimization to make the native wild fescue to the turfgrass in Hohhot. But because it is wild variety, has not been improved, its flatness and resistance to pruning performance is poor,so follow-up should focus on this aspect of improvement.
