Research On Selection Of Citrus Rootstock In Tolerating Drought In Vietnam

Citrus rootstocks can affect the growth and stress resistance of citrus varieties after grafting,including the quality and yield of citrus,the adaptability of plants to the environment,and the growth potential of spike.At the same time,the rootstock plays an important role in the mineral metabolism of the ear,further affecting the other physiological and metabolic activities,affecting the growth and flowering results of the tree.In this study,23 kinds of wild citrus varieties in Anjiang province and Longan province were selected,and two kinds of cultivated environment were designed for comparison and selection of drought-resistant varieties.The treatment group and the control group were designed respectively.The treatment group was treated with drought,The control group normal watering.In this study,we studied the growth and physiological indexes of different citrus rootstocks under drought stress,and evaluated the drought index of the plant.Compared with the drought-resistant rootstock Carrizo citrange,the drought-resistant cultivars with strong drought resistance were screened.The harvested good rootstocks were grafted and grafted for 6 months,and the growth status of the plants and the heel healing were evaluated.Research indicates:In the drought condition,the changes of photosynthetic efficiency,leaf chlorophyll content and starch content decreased significantly in the greenhouse cultivation and the physiological indexes of field cultivation.The total content of soluble sugar and the content of prolirne in leaves increased;slow.Four species of wild citrus were selected,which were Thanh Tra pomelo,Dong Nai pomelo,Do-2 pomelo,Do-1 pomelo,Truc,which were closest to the physiological indexes of Carrizo citrange.From the aspect of survival rate and scion growth,Thanh Tra pomelo,Dong Nai pomelo,Do-2 pomelo,Do-1 pomelo,were suitable as the rootstock of pomelo,and Truc was not suitable as the rootstock.Dong Nai pomelo,Thanh Tra pomelo,Do-2 pomelo,Do-1 pomelo grapefruit as Sanh(Citrus nobilis Lour)of the survival rate of the stock is relatively low,Truc suitable for the rootstock of Sanh.
