The Carbon Sink Measurement And Implementing Influence Analysis Of Lin An Farmers Forest Management Carbon Trading Project

According to the global climate change,the international takes a variety of international laws,regulations and measures to solve it.REDD +(reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation,and forest conservation,sustainable forest management and enhancement of carbon sequestration mechanisms in developing countries)is one of the measures,which provides an excellent opportunity to combine management and sustainable forest management,and it is a competitive,low-cost greenhouse mitigation actions which has the strong support from the EU,Japan and other developed countries and China,Brazil and Indonesia in developing countries.From theory proposed to policy formulation,and then practice,REDD + has achieved some success in forestry,although in the implementation process,there are some flaws and shortcomings,but with the common effort and goal from every country around the world,REDD + will achieve great results in all respects,and contribute to global climate change.In October 2014,the first farmers’ forest management carbon trading project under REDD+ mechanism in China carried out in Lin’an.The project duration is 20 years,divided into four period,each period is 5 years.At present,the first period has developed successfully.42 farmers participant in this project,the methodology is《farmers’ forest management carbon sink project methodology》which is formulated by Zhejiang A&F university.In order to understand the development of carbon trading,this thesis analyses the forest land carbon emission reduction of Lin’an farmers participating in the project,analyses the amount of carbon sequestration in the baseline scenario and in the project scenario,develops field survey to the farmers and draw the following conclusion:(1)Through the successful development of first farmers’ forest managementcarbon trading in Lin’an,the emission reduction of farmers participating in carbon trading project has been all sold out,which means the system of carbon trading has been gradually mature,the carbon market system has been established.The forest management technology,carbon sink monitoring system,registration and hosting trade platform have made some achievement.Forestry carbon trading not only play an important role in the environmental and ecological aspects,also can bring certain economic and social benefits.(2)Based on the variance analysis of carbon storage on the benchmark year,under the significant level at p = 0.05,the carbon storage of high-forest is significantly higher than that of economic forest,the carbon storage of moso bamboo forest is significantly higher than that of economic forest,and between other forest there is no significant differences.In the baseline scenario the first five years,all sorts of forest carbon sinks quantity has changed,only the moso bamboo forest carbon sequestration is still significantly higher than that of economic forest carbon sinks,and other sorts of forest carbon sequestration of between two all have no significant difference.In the next 15 years,there is no significant differences between various sorts of forest carbon sequestration.From cumulative analysis of forest carbon sequestration,we find that the accumulated figures are different which means that the carbon sequestration ability of forest carbon sequestration ability are different,and may be associated with all sorts of forest growth period.(3)In the benchmark,the carbon sequestration of arbor forest is significantly higher than that of economic forest,the moso bamboo forest carbon sequestration is significantly higher than that of economic forest,and other all have no significant difference between forest category.In the four stages of project(the 5th/10th/15th/20thyear),there is no significant differences between the various sorts of forest.That means after the project,operation and management measures of forest land can make every sorts of forest carbon sequestration ability to stabilize,and diminish the difference between each forest category.(4)The project emission reductions that based on the situation of various sorts of forest carbon sequestration of minus the baseline scenario based on all sorts of forest carbon sequestration capacity,after the farmer participation in forest management measures is to achieve the effect of increased remit.In view of the different forest category,management measures are also different,its remit ability is different,but the overall annual increase capacity is stable.(5)The first period of Lin’an farmers’ forest management carbon trading has successfully completed.Through cognitive analysis we can get the understanding degree to the project,which means the government and forestry bureau have comprehensive knowledge training to the farmers,the propaganda work is in place,which can extent knowledge for the latter periods of the project.Through objective analysis we can understand the farmers’ purpose to participant in the carbon trading project,they are considering the economic benefit as well as the environmental benefits which means their environmental consciousness is higher,contributing to global climate change.Through the willingness and satisfactionanalysis of the farmers,they are affected by the factors of the carbonprice,carbon sequestration benefits,environmental benefits and so on,but they are basically in a state of satisfaction,which means to meet the demand of the farmer and have important significance to promotesustainable development of the latter periods of the project.Through cross analysis and correlation analysis,we can found that the purpose of farmers participating in the project is affected by which internal influencing factors,the implementation factors is affected by which influencing factors,this can make the basis for future public policy implementation.The inner influencing factors is inevitable,we can only try to minimum effect.Do reasonable use the relationship of the implementation factors and influencing factors.This study has certain insufficiency,and puts forward some suggestions:(1)strengthening the forest carbon sink project publicity,developing forest carbon sink knowledge popularization education.(2)cultivating more related technical monitoring and developers of carbon trading project.(3)the project owners are difficult to reap the benefits in the short term,give some positive measures to farmers.(4)further improving the operation and management system of carbon trading,to ensure economic and environmental benefits.
