Forest resources monitoring is an important part of national conditions and strength, and it is an important basic work of forestry and public welfare undertakings.Nowadays,China has basically formed a continuous inventory of forest resources(i.e.inventory)survey of forest resources in the national monitoring system as the main body and the forest resources planning and design(two survey)of local forest resources monitoring system as the main body. However, due to the relative independence of a class of inventory and two types of investigation, the difference between the survey method and the survey cycle leads to the inconsistency of the two sets of data.2015,on the basis of the completion of a number of provinces and cities on the basis of the pilot survey, the national macro monitoring of forest resources started. The macro monitoring of forest resources in Zhejiang province is an important part of the national forest resources monitoring.Based on the sampling theory, according to the national 20 km *20 km grid system in Zhejiang province laid a total of 270 2km * 2km sample survey,a total area of about 101799 hectares, through technical means of several remote sensing interpretation technology system,2 kinds of macro monitoring of forest resources in Zhejiang province by cluster sampling.Large sample map and spot zoning interpretation, and on the basis of investigation and verification and field verification, the calculation model, statistical sampling method, respectively,in 2015 the province’s forest area of statistical output data. After statistical analysis,Zhejiang province cluster plots for interpretation of the results: the forest coverage rate of 60.86%,6 million 195 thousand and 500 hectares of forest area;zoning map spot interpretation results are as follows: the forest coverage rate of 61.22%,6 million 232 thousand and 200 hectares of forest area. The study found that the interpretation of cluster plots and patches of forest area zoning agreement reached 99.41%,structure interpretation results of two sets of sampling methods to basically the same.To show that several remote sensing interpretation based scheme is feasible, the macro monitoring of forest resources can be used as an effective supplement and cohesion inventory and two types of investigation, shorten the forest resources data output cycle, can provide a reference for the national economy five years of development planning and the provincial Party leadership tenure assessment.According to the comparison results, sampling accuracy of forest cluster plots and patches division two sampling methods are basically consistent, showed four ranks, arbor sampling precision is highest, special bamboo forest and shrub forest, shrub forest and forestland in general, woodland,Unwoodland and nursery the lowest.According to the statistical data analysis to verify that the human factors, interpretation of remote sensing image quality and accuracy of aging is an important reason. In the future through further optimization of image quality, increase the intensity of sampling techniques to improve remote sensing interpretation accuracy and precision of survey data, and put forward the exploration of sample survey on the application of investigation methods in the county forest resources monitoring work in monitoring effect and feasibility of the dynamic changes of forest resources and forest volume monitoring sample, survey factors the richness of macro monitoring of rich forest resources,to make up for the investigation of long cycle two, investigation period gradually the weakness of poor timeliness and annual change, forest together form the dynamic monitoring system of forest resources,to achieve a number of year.
