Chemical mutagens induced by ethyl methane sulphonate(EMS)have been widely used to acquire functional variations in crop.According to the seedling injury rate in M1 generation,the better treatment method in flax ‘FANY' was confirmed.After,97 flax germplasms from abroad and domestic were collected as objects.Under 150mmol·L-1Na Cl treatment,basing the four kinds of physiological indexes change:seed germination rate,germination potential,root length,shoot length in germination stage.The resistance to salt in flax germination stage was evaluated by using subordinate function method.The correlation of seed size and the resistance to salt of seed were analyzed on the change of 1000-grain Weight from different germplasms.The resuls show that:1?(1)The geminated seeds immerged in 0.6%EMS for 4h.26 variation characters were found in M1 generation in the shape of leaf and stem,the color of leaf and stem,and plant height etc.,which 17 of them were inherited from M1 to M2 generation.M3 seed of stem mutants about stem shape,branches,plant height were harvested after observation their phenotypes in M3.(2)With 150mmol·L-1 Na Clfor screening of M2 solution generation,get a salt-tolerant M3 mutant strains,the M4 obtained with salt resistance test generation.2?97 germplasm of salt resistance identification results show that:(1)In the evaluation on the resistance to salt of flax,the physiological indexes weights were presented below: shoot length < germinative potential < root length < germination rate.(2)Under the same Euclidean distance,97 flax germplasms were divided into 5 levels by using the weighted distributing method,4 levels by using The arithmetic average method.In the evaluation on the resistance to salt of crop,The resistance to salt of germplasm could be measured more accutately by using weighted subordinate function method;(3)1000-grain Weight and salt resistance(D value)were positively associated,but it was small.(4)The resistance to salt of all the flax germplasms be divided into?—? by using weighted subordinate function method:?level—2 copies of materials;?level-33 materials;? level—16 copies of materials;?level—28 copies of materials;?level—18 materials;Our research provided a addition to the previous evaluation database on the resistance to salt of flax,laid the foundation for breeding flax possesing a good resistance to salt and excellent agronomictraits.
