Multi-function agricultural machine is one kind of modern agricultural equipment,which can complete the straw crushing,rotary tillage,planting and other works at the same time.Multi-function machine equipped with a number of operating equipments,and the power transmission system has a number of power outputs.However,most of the domestic products have the defects and problems,such as the irrational distribution of power and the inconvenient operation.Aiming at the existing problems of multi-function machine,this paper studies the transmission system of a crawler self-propelled multi-function machine,so as to improve the working efficiency and operation performance of the machine and reduce the fuel consumption.Firstly,the structure,parameters and performance of the existing multi-function machine are analyzed in detail,and the improvement goal of the transmission system is put forward.Secondly,according to the improvement goal,the transmission system improvement scheme is designed and the transmission ratios are optimized,so that the control of power outputs and walking system is independent of each other.Secondly,in order to improve the operating performance of the machine,two wet clutches are added to the powertrain and the parameters are determined.The flow and oil pressure requirements are determined,and the main components of the hydraulic system are selected.Then,the transmission system model is established in the KISSsys and KISSsoft software.After the correctness of the model is verified,the gear pairs,shafts and bearings are designed,selected and checked.Next,on the basis of the determination of the gear parameters,the study on the modification of the spur gears is carried out,and the influence rule of the modified elements on the modification effect is founded.The best modification parameters are determined to improve the bearing capacity and reduce the vibration and noise.And the efficiency of the gears before and after the modification is analyzed,which proves the positive effect of gear modification on the efficiency of transmission.Finally,the test is carried out and the vegetation coverage and fuel consumption of the multi-function machine are tested.The fuel consumption of simulation and test before and after improvement are compared.The results show that the simulation results are basically the same as the experimental results and the fuel economy of the multi-function machine has been greatly improved.In this paper,with the optimization of transmission ratios of each line,the phenomenon of “speed reversal” is eliminated and the fuel economy is improved.By adding two wet clutches,the operation performance is improved.The goals of the reduction of labor intensity and operating cost are achieved,and the development of agricultural mechanization and sustainability is strongly promoted.
