Maize is one of the major grain,cash and feed crops.By constantly adjusting the structure of animal husbandry,a new pattern of modern animal husbandry economy with Shandong characteristics has been formed in Shandong province.The proportion of maize straw in animal husbandry increases from 30%to 35%.The existing self-pr opelled maize silage harvester has poor adaptability and is not adaptive to the maize c ultivation patterns of scattered plots in our province.However,the price of imported maize silage harvester is extremely high.Therefore,it is significant to design a linkag e-type maize silage harvester with our own independent intellectual property rights to adapt the cultivation pattern in our province.Through the research of current situation at home and abroad and the product market situation,this paper determines the research direction,the problems need to be solved,the research methods and technical routes.Design and research the full-gears driven silage harvester is clearly taken as the overall goal of this paper.Through the research of the whole structure,this paper determines the structure of full-gears driven system,the cutting and kneading devices,the cutting and conveying devices,the materials throwing devices,the clamping and feeding devices,and the auxiliary devices.Through the research and design of the full-gears transmission system,the proble ms existing in the belt transmission or the chain transmission system are solved.The f ull-gears transmission system can adjust the rotation speed of the feeding roller and ca n realize the adjustable cutting length of the material.It can also realize the reversal of the feed roller,the material blockage problems can be solved without stopping the ma chine.Through the research and design of the cutting and kneading device,the theoretical cutting length of silage maize with different numbers of cutting knives and different feeding speeds was calculated,and the research purpose of the breakage of corn knot and seed was achieved.Through the structural design of the material throwing device and the calculation of the hydraulic system matching,the hydraulic motor is available to adjust the throwing chute at the range of 300 degrees.Through the research of the overall structure of the machine,the structure of the whole gear drive system,the shredding kneading device,the cutting and conveying device,the material throwing device,the gripping feeding device and the auxiliary device are determined.Technical Specification of the sample machine as follows:(1)Matched Power(kW):?73.5(2)Cutting Header Structure:Row-needless Vertical Feeding Roller(3)Adjustable Range of Cutting Header(mm):539(4)Working Width(mm):2200(5)Height of Blowing Chute(mm):4200(6)Rotary Angle of Chute(°):300(7)Spindle Speed of Cutting Flywheel(r/min):1000(8)Working Speed(km/h):<8During the implementation of the project,the field harvesting experiment was ca rried out and the problems were found and the machine was optimized.After the smal 1 batch was put on the market,the corn silage harvesters were praised by users.
