As the biggest carbon in the terrestrial ecosystem, forest is an integral part of the global carbon cycle, because the dynamic change of biomass and carbon storage is closely related to the global carbon cycle. This paper surveys and studies the 4 year old Cupressus lusitanica plantation in Xuyi,Liuhe and Lishui areas, analyzing, discussing and comparing organic carbon, biomass and carbon storage of the tree layer, herb layer, litter layer and soil layer of the Cupressus lusitanica young plantation in the different areas. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The average biomass of the plants was in order of Lishui>Liuhe>Xuyi. And then taking mining method analyze herb layer biomass and taking net harvest method analyze litter layer biomass, the result was that the biomass in Xuyi was 8.03 t·hm-2, the biomass in Liuhe was 14.40 t·hm-2, and the biomass in Lishui was 10.58 t·hm-2. That is the biomass of Cupressus lusitanica young plantation in three areas was in order of Liuhe>Lishui>Xuyi. Among them, tree layer biomass was 6.05-12.04 t·hm-2, which was the largest in all layers, accouting for 75.34%-83.61% of total biomass. Herb layer biomass was the second, which is 1.27-1.78 t·hm-2, accouting for 10.70%-16.82% of total biomass. Litter layer biomass was the smallest, which was 0.71-0.82 t·hm-2, accouting for 5.69%-8.84% of total biomass.(2)In the different areas, carbon content of vegetation layer of the Cupressus lusitanica young plantation was between 43.15% and 51.04%. Among them, carbon content of tree layer was between 45.34% and 51.04%, and the average value was 48.07%, which was close to the coefficient of 0.5. Carbon content of herb layer was between 43.15% and 45.97%, and the average value was 44.34%, which was close to the coefficient of 0.45. Carbon content of litter layer was between 45.93% and 47.96%, and the average value was 46.84%, which was close to the coefficient of 0.45. Therefore, the carbon content of Cupressus lusitanica young plantation in vegetation layer wass in order of tree layer>litter layer>herb layer. In the different areas, the organic carbon content of soil layer of the Cupressus lusitanica young plantation was between3.63 g·kg-1 and 22.12 g·kg-1, which performs the carbon content of topsoil was the largest, the carbon content of 20-40 cm was the second, and the carbon content of 40-60 cm was the smallest. From different spatial differences, in all soil layers, the largest organic carbon content was Xuyi, the second was Liuhe, and the smallest was Lishui.(3)The total carbon storage of Cupressus lusitanica young plantation was 87.81 t·hm-2, 53.77 t·hm-2 and 44.86 t·hm-2 respectively in Xuyi, Liuhe and Lishui. The total carbon storage of Cupressus lusitanica young plantation in three areas was in order of Xuyi>Liuhe>Lishui. The carbon storage of Cupressus lusitanica young plantation in Xuyi was 1.63 times as much as in Liuhe, 1.96 times as much as in Lishui. In the composition of total carbon storage of Cupressus lusitanica young plantation, no matter in which area, the proportion of soil layer was the largest, which accounts for 95.83%, 87.26% and 88.45% respectively in Xuyi, Liuhe and Lishui. Tree layer accounts for 3.17%, 10.77% and 8.87% respectively, herb layer accounts for 0.63%, 1.26% and 1.83% respectively and litter layer accounts for 0.38%, 0.71% and 0.85% respectively.
