Research Of Conflict Between Wild Boar And Native People In Huangnihe Nature Reserve

The distribution of wild boar in northeast of China are mainly in Heilongjiang and Jilin province,but with the increased of the population of wild boar,the conflict between human and animal which is the main body of wild boar is increased too,therefore,it is very important to study the habitat of wild boar and the relationship between wild boar and human beings.In this study,the habitat selection of wild boar in Yellow river national nature reserve in Jilin province was investigated by the method of transect and quadrat;then the questionnaire survey and field observation were used to investigate the local residents' awareness of the protection of wild boar,and the damage of the surrounding farmland by wild boar.And analyze the main influencing factors of the two factors: the residents' awareness and tolerance of the protection of wild boar.The selection degree of wild boar to 12 kinds of habitat factors was investigated.The habitat factors of two autumn in the Yellow river nature reserve were measured in the field,and the results were analyzed by SPSS software combined with chi square test,Mann-Whitey U,T test and principal component analysis.(1)The comparison between the habitat factors in the autumn of the past two years result showed that the ecological environment was stable in the two autumn.Through the analysis of the software that the wild boar love activities at low altitude and semi shaded and semi sunny slow slope,with rich food and a certain degree of concealment,moderate canopy trees in mixed conifer forest,and the artificial interference distance is greater than 1000 m.(2)The principal component analysis of various habitat factors showed that: the first four eigenvalues can accurately reflect the characteristics of wild boar habitat selection in autumn,and the cumulative contribution rate is 85.95%,which affected the selection of habitat for the autumn wild boar.Further analysis showed that the main influencing factors were vegetation type,altitude,slope position,tree diameter at breast height,concealment,food abundance and human disturbance by transpose matrix method(variable load coefficient of the absolute value of > 0.6).(3)The residents of the wild boar Awareness Analysis ultimately showed that: In the field survey,94.68% of the local residents thought that the time for the wild boar to destroy the crops was in the autumn of harvest and there are nobody in fields.There are 80.54% of local residents considered that only wild boar food shortage,there will be wild boar destroyed field events.56.43% of people believe that the number of wild boar is increasing year by year,more than 90% of these people have been destroyed in the farmland.Some residents believe that the number of wild boar in the reduction,the proportion of 26.34%.After the destruction of the wild boar,83.65% of the residents hoped to get some compensation from the government.According to statistics,only 14.98% of the residents want to move away from the reserve.(4)The result of investigation and analysis of the residents' tolerance to wild boar showed that when the crops were destroyed by wild boar,46.15% of them agreed to kill wild boar.Even meet wild boar on the road or between the mountains,there are 3.08% and 3.15% of people agree with killing wild boar.62.3% of people agree with the national implementation of protective measures for wild boar.The majority of the people who hold the view of wild boar eradication are mainly residents with low educational level and low per capita farmland area,and the higher proportion of residents in the field of income is expected to reduce the number of wild boar.When the farmland was damaged by wild boar,the residents with low education level and high proportion of farmland income were the main population of the wild boar.On the other hand,there is a large number of farmland per capita area and small area of farmland destroyed.Among the many factors,the education level,the per capita farmland area and the proportion of farmland income are the main factors that affect the tolerance of the wild boar.The study of the conflict between the native and the wild boar is of great significance,after the study of the selection of the habitat of the wild boar in autumn and the endurance of the native to the wild boar,it is concluded that the relationship between the wild boar and the native people should be dealt with well,which is helpful to the protection of the Siberian tiger.
