The fertilizer distributor is one of the important parts of seeder,joint operation cultivator and fertilization machine,its performance affects the whole quality of the work.This paper implements fertilization fertilizer particles used in this study is a kind of bulk,now for the simulation analysis of bulk,the most widely used the discrete element method.The discrete element method proposed by Cundall in 1970 s,for the analysis of granular particles a discontinuous numerical simulation method.This paper is combined with the characteristics of discrete element method and the fertilizer particles,the discrete element method of fertilizer and fertilizer apparatus based on the simulation analysis and experimental study.The discrete element simulation analysis and bench test of the working process of screw type fertilizer apparatus.The test is the selection of common urea and compound fertilizer of two kinds of fertilizers,has separately carried on the physical and mechanical properties test,provide some necessary parameters for discrete element simulation.According to the measured parameters and the corresponding reference selection,discrete element model was built for fertilizer,fertilizer is the primary structure parameter modeling and Simulation of the working process,through the simulation analysis for the working mechanism of fertilizer apparatus provides a basis for the bench test.The self fertilizing test rig,by the stepper motor to achieve the control of fertilizer the speed of the drive can be realized Control of fertilizer quantity,fertilizer component produced by 3D printing,the spiral shape requirements.The bench test method using uniform test the test of 4 factors and 6 levels of fertilizer,fertilizer according to the uniformity coefficient of variation index by regression analysis of various factors,and obtained the regression equation.Because of the error model and parameters selection of fertilizer granules established has a great influence on the simulation,so the preliminary simulation,and the parameters were amended and re repeated calculation and simulation analysis.The simulation results with the modified images captured by high speed camera,moving fertilizer particles are basically the same,is proved to be correct discrete element simulation analysis,the rationality of the model.In this paper,two kinds of commonly used chemical fertilizers were simulated and analyzed,and the corresponding experiments were carried out.Show that the discrete element method for chemical and mechanical interaction of the feasibility of the research,provides new ideas and methods for the design and optimization spiral type fertilizer apparatus.
