Most fertilizers only use one single organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer.If there is a need to apply organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer at the same time,then two kinds of machineries are required to conduct the operations twice,which is not conducive to reducing labor costs.In order to apply organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer at the same time to increase the utilization rate of fertilizer and solve the issues of impracticability and blockage caused by fertilization due to the high moisture content of organic fertilizer,the paper introduces a design of two-bin fertilizer distributor with the application of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)The physical properties are measured for organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer in the factory state together with different organic fertilizer(moisture content),which provides the parameter basis for the design and simulation analysis of fertilizer distributor.(2)According to the physical properties of the fertilizer and the design requirements of the fertilizer distributor,a two-bin fertilizer distributor mechanism is designed.Also,the type of compound fertilization mechanism is determined,which is an external grooved wheel type fertilizer device.To prevent blockage,impracticability,and agglomeration of organic fertilizer during rowing,an organic fertilizer mechanism is designed,which is a stirring knife-belt conveyor type fertilizer device.In addition,in order to apply organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer at the same time,the fertilizer bin structure is designed,which is a double box type fertilizer bin.(3)The EDEM discrete element analysis software is used to conduct simulation analysis of the rowing process of the two-bin fertilizer distributor mechanism in different organic fertilizers and under single conditions(change of one fertilizer parameter).The results show that:(1)When different organic fertilizers are applied,the fertilizing amount decreases with the increase of moisture content;when the moisture content of organic fertilizer is less than 16.61%,the fertilization stability is high and the fluctuation is small;but when the moisture content of organic fertilizer is greater than 16.61%,the phenomenon of blockage in fertilizer appears.(2)Under the single operating condition,the beltconveying speed and organic fertilizer opening degree have a great influence on the fertilization rate of the two-bin fertilizer distributor,while the stirring speed of the mixing knife has little effect on the fertilizing rate of the two-bin fertilizer distributor.(4)The design of double-bin fertilizer distributor mechanism is applied to a single-row and double-row rotary cultivator for one ridge,and the transmission mechanism of the fertilizer distributor is designed.Moreover,a fertilizer machine model machine is developed.(5)A field experiment is conducted on a one-ridge double-row fertilizer distributor under different organic fertilizers and single working conditions,and the experimental result is basically consistent with the simulation results,which verifies the feasibility of the simulation.At the same time,it indicates that the fertilization function applies to organic fertilizer containing a moisture content of 13.35%.Through orthogonal experimental analysis method,the best parameters to meet the requirements of fertilization are obtained:opening height is10 mm,working length of external sheave is 30 mm,ground wheel diameter is 500 mm,tractor forward speed is 0.5m/s,and the stirring shaft rotation speed is4r/s.Under the optimal combination of row and fertilizer parameters,the fertilization machine is used to perform the row fertilizer performance test,and the amount of fertilizer applied per unit length is 82.61g/m,the compound fertilizer application amount is41.89g/m,with a small error compared with the required fertilizer application amount,indicating that the organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer can be applied very well at the same time;the uniformity of fertilization is above 92%(standard for tobacco fertilization),the rate of change and the coefficient of variation are low and all within the required range.With a width of 77.5mm and a fertilizing depth of 261.8mm,the fertilizer machine is proved to have a good fertilizing effect and meet the fertilization requirements.
