Morphologal Variations On Hemifusus Tuba (Gmelin) Of Eight Different Geographical Populations In China And The Reproductive System Of H.tuba From Guangxi Beibu Gulf

By applying multivariate morphometrics metrology methods,we used 15 morphological proportional characters to analyze the morphological variations from eight different natural populations of Hemifusus tuba(Gmelin),which were respectively located in Fangchenggang,Taishan,Beihai,Qinzhou,Zhanjiang,Lianyungang,Xiamen and Wenzhou.In addition,the reproductive system of H.tuba had been studied by using tissue section techniques,which from Beibu Gulf.The main results of this thesis are summarized as follows.1.From multivariate statistical analysesd,eight populations of H.tuba can be divided into the southern group(Fangchenggang,Taishan,Beihai,Qinzhou and Zhanjiang)and northern group(Lianyungang,Xiamen and Wenzhou)clearly.Three principal components were constructed,the contributory ratio was 53.74%,14.78%and 11.82%respectively,with 80.34%as cumulative contributory ratio.The discriminant functions of eight populations were established,the discriminant accuracy being 70.00%?97.06%and the average discriminant accuracy being 86.52%.2.Through anatomy observation,the results showed that the male reproductive system is mainly composed of spermary,seminal vesicle,prostate,testis,deferens duct and the penis(penile sac and transfer).The female reproductive system is mainly composed of ovary,oviduct,bursa gland(albumen gland and nidamental gland),genital pore and proleg mouth.In addition,each female had a set of deferens duct and penis,which smaller than the normal male.The tissue section results showed that H.tuba from Beibu Gulf had two reproduction periods.The first times appeared in October to early January,second times in the late of February to May.The spermary development is divided into 4 periods:proliferating stage,growing period,maturity and discharge period,degradtion phase.The ovary development is divided into 4 stages:proliferating stage,growing period,maturity and discharge period,ambiguous phase.The spermatogenesis could be divided into 5 stages:spermatogonium stage,primary spermatocyte stage,secondary spermatocyte stage,sperm cells period and mature sperm period.The oogenesis was divided into 4 stages:oogonia stage,primary oocytes stage,the secondary oocyte stage and mature oocyte period.Annual gonad development law of Hemifusus tuba from Beibu Gulf can be summed up as follows.In late September to early October for the proliferation period,by the middle of October to November for the growth phase ?.December to early January of the next year for the maturity and discharge stage ?,by the middle of January gonadal development to a halt.In the second half of February to enter the growth phase ?.In late March until May for mature and emission phase ?.In June the germ cell emptying gonadal atrophy,enter a resting stage and degradation period,this period until September.
