Research Of Wool Characteristics Analysis And Genetic Diversity Of Four Local Sheep Breeds In Xinjiang

Xinjiang local sheep breeds have sheepdown.But for a long time,there haven't been systematic research on the quality of sheepdown and the genetic diversity of the local sheep breeds.Some people even believe that there wasn't sheepdown.Therefore most of them are abandoned or rolled the wool blanket,the price is very low.But in recent years,Xinjiang Institute of animal husbandry and animal husbandry quality standards have been found in 10-14?m micron sheep germplasm resources,breaking the bad quality of sheep sheepdown rumors.In order to fully understand the wool characteristics of local sheep breeds and to make a reasonable plan for sheep breeding,it is necessary to carry out an investigation on the wool quality and genetic of the sheep breeds to determine breeding direction of sheep breeds.Therefore,the sheepdown characteristics and genetic diversity of 4 major local sheep breeds were analyzed in Xinjiang,it provide scientific basis for the breeding,conservation and management of local sheep breeds.1.The results showed that Kazak sheep,Altay sheep,Bashenbai sheep and duolang sheep have down hair,The fineness is ranged from 12.2-35?m,and the average value is about 20?m.The length is ranged from 24-120 mm,almost is 70 mm,variety and sex have impact on the length,the content of down hair rate is 40%-50%,the content of wool oil is 3%-5%,whiteness and gloss is better,yellowness value is low.we found that the finest down hair reached 14.2?m,close to the current sheepdown average fineness,the maximum length of single down hair fiber to 117.9mm,it is far better than the sheepdown,In sum up,Fineness,length,strength,whiteness are very good in the sheep breeds,there are great development value.2.59 samples of Kazakh sheep,Altay sheep,Bashenbai sheep and Duo Lang sheep were collected.Then,mitochondrial Cytb gene was amplified and sequenced.The results showed that 1016 bp fragment sequence was obtained.The population haplotype diversity is very high in four sheep breeds,The population haplotype diversity is up to 0.895 in Kazakh sheep,Coefficient of genetic differentiation(Gst),fixed coefficient(Fst)and gene flow(Nm)was 0.04114,0.04193 and 5.83 respectively.21 haplotypes were defined among the 59 gene sequences.Among them,H1 are the most haplotypes that shared by 4 sheep breeds.After AMOVA molecular variation analysis,genetic variation between populations and within populations was 3.97% and 96.03% respectively.Genetic distance and cluster analysis showed that the genetic distance of the 4 sheep breeds was near with each other and the genetic relationship was close.59 individuals could be originated from two different maternal lines.
