"Dong Nong" winter wheat usually plants in early September, harvesting in next June or July. It's more than two months from the harvest to the next sowing date.If we can plant a crop of oats-peas mixtures, then we will make full use of land resources and mixed seeding strengths. This experiment used two crops of different sowing dates of oats-peas mixtures as experimental materials. The first crops of mixed seeded on May 10th,harvested on July 27th;The second crops of mixed seeded on June 20th,harvested on September 3th.Three dairy cows fitted permanent rumen fistula were choosen as experimental animals, and this research determined and compared the effects of different sowing dates on CNCPS nutrients and rumen degradation rate of oats-peas mixtures by using Cornell Net Carbohydrate and Protein System(CNCPS)and Nylon Bag Technique.According to the feed ingredients divided by CNCPS,these items need to be determined:dry matter(DM),crude protein(CP),crude fat(EE),crude Ash(Ash),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),acid detergent fiber(ADF),acid detergent lignin(ADL),neutral washing insoluble protein(NDFIP),acid washing insoluble protein(ADFIP),soluble protein(SP),non-protein nitrogen(NPN)and starch(Starch).According to the results, the early oats EE was significantly higher than the late oats(P<0.05);the rest of the regular nutrition items(except the DM)were significantly lower than the late oats(P<0.05).The early peas EE,ADL and NDFIP content were significantly higher than the late peas(P<0.05);the rest of the regular nutritional items were significantly lower than the late peas(P<0.05).The feed protein was divided into PA,PB1 and PB2,PB3 and PC,and the feed carbohydrate group was divided into CA,CB1,CB2,CB3,CNSC and CC by the CNCPS system.A total of 11 components, each of these components can be calculated by the formula.Overall, according to the results, the early oats PA,PB3,PC,CB1 and CC contents were higher than the late oats(P<0.05);other CNCPS nutrients items were lower than the late oats(P<0.05).The late peas PA,CB2 and CC contents were higher than the early peas(P<0.05);the rest of CNCPS nutrients items were lower than the early peas(P<0.05).This research seted eight time points:0,2,4,8,12,24,48 and 72 h in rumen degradation experiment, and separately determined the disappearance rates of DM,CP,NDF and ADF of oats and peas on each time point. The results showed that the early oats' a-part of DM and b-part of DM,NDF,ADF were were significantly higher than the late oats(P<0.05),but it's c-part of DM,a-part of NDF and ADF,c-part of NDF and ADF were lower than the late oats(P<0.05).The early peas' b-part of CP and a-part of ADF were significantly higher than the late peas(P<0.05),but it's a-part of CP and NDF,c-part of NDF and ADF were lower than the late peas(P<0.05).As to the ED values, the late peas' ED values of DM,CP,NDF and ADF were significantly higher than the early peas(P<0.05);The early oats'ED values of DM,NDF and ADF were significantly higher than the late oats(P<0.05).
