Plant spraying is the important form for cropland protection,and the spraying quality is the key guide line for the effect of cropland protection.Precision spraying technique plays the important part of intelligent cropland protection,and it has important theoretical sense and practical value.How to reduce pesticide dosage during the process of spraying task for the plant protection and increase ratio of fog drop overlay for the interior of plant are the key research contents.The paper studies the key techniques of precision spraying system to adapt cropland during different growing period.The main works of this paper are as follows:(1)It obtains the crop information by using binocular stereo-vision,and calculates the reasonable position of the nozzle.The stereo-camera is calibrated by uses of MATLAB program and chessboard pattern.The optimized position of the nozzle is given out on the minimum dosage of pesticide during the process of spraying task for the plant protection.(2)It proposes a method to increase the droplet coverage on the under surface of leaves based on the basic principle of Computational Fluid Dynamics,i.e.,multi-direction atomization.It gives out two concrete schemes by using CFD technique.It obtains the simplified the model of the gas fluid field of the spraying system by using quasi-static hypothesis and shows the disadvantages of the original spraying system by simulating using FLUENT..(3)It proposes two airflow assistant methods that can change the gas fluid field of spraying system by using CFD technique.Simulation is carried out by use of FLUENT for the gas fluid field of the spraying system to verify the effectiveness of two schemes.It gives the method to change the parameters of precision spraying system to adapt cropland during different growing period based on simulation.(4)Experimental verification.Running experiments on the crop model and real crop according to the result of simulation.The droplet coverage is tested by using the water sensitive test paper and MATLAB program.The experiment shows that using airflow assist in spraying system to increase the droplet coverage on the under surface of leaves is an available way.
