In order to study the variation of grain temperature,insect and water content of wheat stored in a high grain squat silo,the changes of the above indexes in a grain storage period were studied under the storage conditions of real warehouse in South China grain storage area.Mainly through the regular use of the grain condition monitoring system to detect the grain temperature,to track the grain temperature changes at various points in the grain heap,to inspect the insect insects in the warehouse periodically,and to summarize the occurrence law of the insects in a grain storage cycle.The moisture content of wheat during storage was detected regularly,and the variation rule of wheat moisture was analyzed.Because gluten water absorption is an important index of current wheat storage quality control,the water content of gluten is also measured.Reducing water loss of wheat storage provides theoretical support,instructs enterprises to use high grain squat silo scientifically and reasonably,and improves the level of storage management of enterprises.The main results are as follows:(1)During the storage period of wheat,the grain temperature will change with the temperature,but the change range is mainly near the surface layer and outer circle of the grain heap,and the grain temperature inside the grain heap is relatively stable,and the annual average grain temperature can be kept below 25 ?.Under the climate conditions of the grain storage area in South China,high grain squat silo has good thermal insulation performance and can form a large "cold core" in the grain heap,which has a positive effect on the storage of grain.Mechanical ventilation plays an extremely important role in the control of grain temperature in a grain storage cycle,and the energy consumption per unit of ventilation with low power fan is lower when conditions permit.(2)The first occurrence of insects in high grain squat silo was mainly affected by the situation of incoming grain,and after the following year,it mainly occurred in the summer and autumn seasons,and the insect species were greatly affected by the environment.Most of the insects occurred on the surface of the grain heap,among which the insect occurred below the human hole.It is easy to happen under the vent and near the central decompression tube.In recent years,the Cryptolestes ferrugineus has become the main species of insects occurring in our library.(3)The moisture content of wheat stored in high grain squat silo will gradually decrease with the increase of storage time.The main reason for the decrease of wheat moisture is the cooling of ventilation in winter,and also the redistribution of water in the grain heap.The use of uplink ventilation will gradually reduce the moisture content in the grain heap from the top to the bottom.The low power fan is more favorable for wheat moisture retention.(4)The gluten water absorption of wheat will decrease with the passage of time,but the change is not sensitive,after a grain storage cycle,the value is still much larger than the current quality control standard.There is no obvious correlation between the gluten water absorption and ventilation operation.
