Study On The Selection Of High-quality Watermelon Varieties In Qinghai

Watermelon and melon are all the main greenhouse cultivated crops in Qinghai,which have high economic benefits and a large planting area in Qinghai.However,the single species,poor disease resistance,and the poor fruit quality were all limited to the development of local watermelon and melon planting industry.Therefore,the selection of suitable watermelon and melon varieties for the cultivation of local greenhouses has a very important impact on improving the yield and quality of the local melons,increasing the economic income,and promoting the watermelon and melon cultivation technology system.This experiment collects and imports 'Sumeng 7','Suemeng 8','ZG1','ZG2' from different regions at home and abroad for screening proper watermelon and melon varieties which are suitable for local sunlight greenhouse cultivation in Qinghai Province.26 kinds of watermelon varieties 'ZG3','ZG4','ZG5','ZG6','Jingying-1','Jingying-3','Lingyuwang','Shannong 5','Shannong 11','Shannon 13','Nongke University 5','Black Beauty','Green Beauty','Fuyunlai','Wanfulai','Xiaoyu 7','Xiaoyu 9','Beautiful "Hui watermelon","National 2K","Yuyi Jinxia No.8","Yuyi Guabao No.9" and "Golden No.3",and 8 muskmelon varieties 'West sweet 208','Nongda Tian 5','Childhood','Jianyu No.1','Xiaozao Xinzaomi','New Moon','Xinyu' and 'Jinmi' were used as experimental materials.The single-indicator analysis,variability analysis and principal component analysis method were used to screen suitable quality Western melon varieties.From the yield perspective,watermelon varieties 'Sumeng No.7','Sue Meng No.8','Fuyunlai' and 'Yuyi Jinxia No.9' performed well;melon varieties 'childhood' and 'crescent' performed high yield.From the aspect of quality,watermelon varieties 'National 2K','Xiaoyu NO.7' and 'Shannong No.13' performed well.Melon varieties 'Nongdatian No.5' and 'Childhood' had relatively good quality indicators.From the perspective of comprehensive traits,the better-performing watermelon varieties are: 'Xiaoyu No.7','National 2K','Sumeng No.7','Wanfulai','Yuyi Jinxia No.8','Fuyunlai' ','Black Beauty','Shannong No.13','Yuyi Jinxia No.9',melon varieties: 'West Sweet 208','Childhood','Qianyu No.1'.The actual cultivation species can be selected according to specific local cultivation requirements.
