In this paper,the double suction centrifugal pump of a pumping station is studied.The characteristic of this pump is: high flow,high lift,and good dynamic balance performance.After the centrifugal pump impeller runs for a period of time finds that the perforation damage of blade inlet is serious,and its damage degree seriously affects the normal operation of centrifugal pump.Studying the law of abrasion failure of leaf inlet.It is of great significance to guide actual production by improving the ability to resist destruction of blades by improving the impeller parameters in the process of making materials and making process unchanged.The work done in this article is as follows:1.The numerical simulation of the three-dimensional full-flow path of the centrifugal pump under the condition of sand water is presented.The simulation is based on SST k-? turbulence model and Zwart cavitation model.Analyzing the influence of the volume fraction and different flow rate on the centrifugal pump flow field and cavitation performance.2.At the beginning of the study.Using the CFX software?Fluent software to predict the ware of blade,the simulation is based on particle model?DPM model.It is found that the results of the above two simulation methods are quite different from the actual operation results of the blade.Therefore,this paper decided to use Fluent software to predict the solid particle cutting wear and reflux on blade inlet based on the Mixture model and the k-? turbulence model.In the vicinity of the inlet of the blade,12 monitoring points were evenly arranged from the front cover plate to the back plate.The influence of the volume fraction of solid particles,the diameter of solid particles and different flow rate on the relevant physical quantities of the above monitoring points were studied and analyzed.3.Through the actual operation of the original impeller,it is found that its service life has not met the design requirements.Therefore,on the basis of the original impeller,changing the geometric parameters of the impeller,and 5 kinds of impeller were redesigned.The impellers of A3 and A5 have been produced and put into the actual production.Carrying out the numerical simulation of cavitation,particle cutting and reflux of blade inlet of the original impeller,impeller A3 and impeller A5.The simulation results are compared with the actual running results.It is found that the reflux of the blade inlet will greatly reduce the operating life of the impeller.The key to improve the blade inlet perforation is to improve the reflux of blade inlet by changing the inletparameters of the blade.The main reasons for the actual perforation of the blade inlet of the impeller,impeller A3 and impeller A5 were found: Some rules have been found by carrying out the numerical simulation of cavitation,solid particle cutting wear and reflux on the blade inlet of the original impeller,impeller A1,impeller A2,impeller A3,impeller A4 and impeller A5.The conclusion has certain feasibility and can be used to guide practice.
