Objective:To study the distributive features of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) with dyslipidemia patients, and make difference analysis among the levels of serum lipids index of each TCM syndromes.Material and method:In November 2014 to January 2015 the Department of Endocrinology,at Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,I screened 138 cases T2 DM with dyslipidemia patients and 50 cases T2 DM without dyslipidemia patients, according to WHO Dept.of Noncommunicable Disease Surveillance and <China Guidelines For Type 2 Diabetes(2013)>,divided them into 6 groups, according to the classification criteria of TCM(sputum stasis group, yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity group, deficiency of both qi and yin group, collateral obstruction by blood stasis group, yin deficiency of liver and kidney group, yang deficiency of spleen and kidney group),analyzed distributive features of the TCM Syndrome of T2 DM with dyslipidemia patients;examined various indexes, including body mass index(BMI),waist circumference(WC),glycosylated hemoglobin A1C(Hb A1C),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),postprandial blood glucose(PBG),fasting C peptide(FCP),postprandial C peptide(PCP),triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),then compared and analyzed the clinical indexes and related factors of different TCM Syndrome groups with software SPSS17.0.Results:1.Among the syndrome type of 138 cases of T2 DM with dyslipidemia, sputum stasis type accounts for 33.33%,collateral obstruction by blood stasis type accounts for 26.09%,deficiency of both qi and yin type accounts for14.49%,yin deficiency of liver and kidney type accounts for 10.87%,yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type accounts for 8.7%,yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity type accounts for 6.52%;among the syndrome type of 50 cases of T2 DM without dyslipidemia, deficiency of both qi and yin type accounts for 40%,collateral obstruction by blood stasis type accounts for 26%,yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity type accounts for 12%,yin deficiency of liver and kidney type accounts for 10%,yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type accounts for 8%,sputum stasis type accounts for 4%.2.Group comparison among TG of different TCM syndromes showed that TG of sputum stasis group(3.71±1.12) is higher than yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity group(2.96±1.09),deficiency of both qi and yin(2.49±0.77),collateral obstruction by blood stasis group(2.32±0.68),yin deficiency of liver and kidney group(2.17±0.54),yang deficiency of spleen and kidney group(2.09±0.49)(P<0.05).3.The level of TG of males(2.93±1.22) is higher than that of females in 30-60 age group(2.81±0.74)(P<0.05),the level of TG of females in >60 age group(3.29±1.02) is higher than 30-60 age group(2.81±0.74)(P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The most common TCM Syndrome of T2 DM with dyslipidemia was sputum stasis type and collateral obstruction by blood stasis type took the second place, yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity type was the rarest;the most common TCM Syndrome of T2 DM without dyslipidemia was deficiency of both qi and yin type and collateral obstruction by blood stasis type took the second place, sputum stasis type was the rarest.2. TG of sputum stasis group is higher than other TCM syndromes groups.3.The level of TG can be influenced by gender and age,the level of TG of males in 30-60 age group is higher than that of females, the level of TG of females is higher than before when they get 60 years old.
