| Objective:To observe the effects of the method of tonifying Qi, nourishing Yin, promoting blood circulation and arresting bleeding on Qi and Yin deficiency accompanied by stasis syndrome in patients of renal hematuria, and evaluate the efficacy and safety of treating renal hematuria with the method of tonifying Qi, nourishing Yin, promoting blood circulation and arresting bleeding preliminarily.Method:A total of 46 patients in this study were randomly divided into an experimental group (23 cases) and a control group (23 cases). The renal hematuria patient with Qi and Yin deficiency accompanied by stasis syndrome in the experimental group received the bleeding arresting prescription and foundation treatment for nephritis while the patients in the control group participated as foundation treatment. Under the premise that the baselines of the two groups are comparable, a 4-week observation was conducted taking the changes of urinary red blood cell count as the major assessment index of effectiveness, and the safety of each group before and after treatment was evaluated.Result:(1) A total of 46 cases were included to this study, and 22 cases in the experimental group and 23 cases in the control group completed the study. There was 1 drop-out case in the experimental group. (2) Baselines of the treatment group and the control group are comparable (P>0.05). (3) In terms of comprehensive curative effects, the overall effective rate of the experimental group was significantly superior to that of the control group, and the cure rate and the significantly effective rate of the experimental group were superior to those of the control group. (4) The comparison result of urinary red blood cell counts in the experimental group before and after treatment was obviously statistically significant (P<0.01) and the total effective rate 77.3%. (5) The differences of TCM syndromes before and after treatment in the experimental group was statistically significant (P<0.05). (6) ComParisons of single TCM syndrome treatment before and after treatment in the two groups:the differences of dry throat, soreness and weakness of waist and knees, lumbago, heaviness of limbs and trunk, and indigestion and loss of appetite were statistically significant (P<0.05) in the experimental group. (7) The comparison results of safety before and after treatment in the two groups presented no statistically significant difference and the safety performance was satisfactory. Conclusion:It is found after this study that the method of tonifying Qi, nourishing Yin, promoting blood circulation and arresting bleeding for treating renal hematuria of Qi and Yin deficiency accompanied by stasis syndrome has significant safety and effectiveness. The clinical effects of improving the conditions of urinary red blood cell count and TCM syndromes are satisfactory, and no obvious adverse reactions were observed during the treatment courses. |
