Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of antibiotic application under the guidance of procalcitonion in perioperative period of the laparoscopic cholecystectomy plus laparoscopic bile duct exploration(LCBDE).Methods:We evaluated 42 patients who were diagnosed with cholecystolithiasis and choledocholithiasis undergoing LCBDE from January 2014- February 2016 at the Department of the Hepatobiliary Surgery. Patients were randomly divided into experimental group(21 cases) and control group(21 cases), The two groups patients received antibiotics during the perioperative period. The experimental group received antibiotics according to PCT;The control group received antibiotics according to conventional inflammatory markers. The venous blood was extracted in preoperative and every other day of postoperative for the detection of serum PCT and WBC count ?CRP,intraoperative bile was collected for bacterial culture. Results: No infection related complications were found in the two groups. Antibiotics were used for averaging 1.1 days in The experimental group and 3.25 days in the control group, The days of antibiotic used in experimental group was significantly less than it in the control group, The difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion: PCT can guide the application of antibiotics in perioperative period of LCBDE,which can reduce the time of antibiotics use compared with the traditional inflammation markers, and the value can be further promoted.
