Objective: Migraine is a common clinical primary headache disorder characterized by mostly pulsatile, unilateral, moderate and severe headache.Long-term migraine may lead to a variety of physical and psychological disorders. To improve the quality of life in patients with migraine better, this study investigates the related risk factors of patients with migraine associated with psychological disorders such as anxiety, depression, sleep disorder. Methods: 152 cases of migraine from March 2014 to December 2015 in the neurology clinic of The 2nd Hospital of Hebei Medical University were selected as case group, who were determined according to the 2nd edition diagnostic criteria for migraine of International Classification of Headache, prescribed by International Headache Society,2004.Detailed clinical data of all patients were collected, including common data(name, gender, age, educational level etc.),clinical data(headache site, degree, properties, course, duration of attack, frequency, form, inducing factors, accompanying symptoms, scores of VAS,with or without aura, relevant test results etc.),epidemiological data(past history, personal history, family history, drug use history etc.).150 healthy subjects were chosen as control group in the Medical Examination Center of The 2nd Hospital of Hebei Medical University at the same time. The Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI),the Beck Depression Inventory-II(BDI-II),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PQSI)and migraine disability assessment scale(MIDAS)were adopted to evaluate the anxiety degree, depression degree, sleep quality and disability degree.A comparative analysis was applied for the related risk factors.Results:1 The incidence rate of anxiety, depression, sleep disorder in migraine group(50.66%,47.37%,54.61%,respectively)was obviously higher than that in control group(22.67%,17.33%,32.00%,respectively)(x~2 =25.447,x~2 =31.070,x~2 =15.707,respectively,P<0.001),also the incidence rate of anxiety and depression in migraine group(46.05%)was higher than in control group(13.33%)(x~2 =38.634,P<0.001).2 In migraine group the scores of MIDAS of patients associated with anxiety, depression and sleep disorder were respectively remarkable higher than patients without, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3 The Logistic regression analysis found that the headache degree(OR=1.774),duration(OR=2.20),frequency(OR=2.578),course(OR=1.912),sleep quality(OR=3.181),gender(OR=2.566)were the notable related risk factors that ascribe to patients with anxiety and depression in migraine group(P<0.05).Conclusions: The research reveals that the incidence rate of psychological disorders such as anxiety, depression and sleep disorder is high in patients with migraine, which could affects their life quality, moreover, the related risk factors are more.In order to improve the overall quality of life of patients with migraine,we hope that we should pay more attention to the psychological status of patients with migraine in the treatment at the same time.
