Atmospheric pressure cold plasma jet technology is the main direction of the research of plasma,there is great application significance and research value in the new discipline field of plasma biomedical science.Atmospheric pressure plasma jet technology removes the vacuum system which must be required in the process of traditional plasma generation,the device is simple and the cost is low,the generated plasma can be under the blowing of the working gas leaving the discharge space and directly generates a length adjustable jet in ambient atmosphere,this greatly improves the application efficiency of the plasma and extends the application field of the plasma.At present,atmospheric pressure cold plasma has been used in the medical field for the sterilization and disinfection of high sensitive medical devices,and the treatment of some diseases caused by bacteria,et al.The researchers are working on the study of plasma in the induction of cancer cell apoptosis,cell proliferation and blood clotting.In this paper,an atmospheric pressure cold plasma jet generating device is designed,the plasma jet produced should be meet the basic requirements used for suturing wounds,direct contact with human body does not cause thermal or electrical damage.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Development of an atmospheric pressure cold plasma jet generating device.Independently developed an output frequency adjustable,voltage amplitude 0~15kV range adjustable sinusoidal AC power supply as the drive power supply for the whole device,the discharge electrode reference from needle-ring electrode structure which designed by Lu Xinpei group,the high purity argon which the volume fraction is99.999% used as working gas,and atmospheric pressure cold plasma jet is generated by the dielectric barrier discharge.2.Analysis on the characteristics of atmospheric pressure cold plasma jet.In this paper,the following research is done on the plasma jet: voltage and current characteristics in the generating process of plasma jet;influence of power parameters and working gas flow velocity on plasma jet length;use fiber optic spectrometercollected the emission spectrum of plasma jet,and calculated electron temperature of plasma by using double line method;the macroscopic temperature measurement of plasma using thermocouple contact thermometer.3.Study on the safety of the human body direct contact plasma jet.The safety of the human body when contact with plasma jet is studied by using the equivalent circuit simulation of the human body,and the human body contact experiment was carried out.4.Modeling of plasma jet system.The system is modeled according to the characteristics of voltage and current in the generating process of plasma jet,and the transfer function of the system model is derived.
