Objective: To investigate the acute pulmonary embolism,s clinical characteristic and long-tern follow up of the patients and analysis the related factors about the prognosis of the patients. Methods: Clinical data of 58 cases diagnosed as APE between February 2013 and February 2015 in the Harrison International Peace Hospital were analyzed. To investigate the clinical characteristic of the APE and follow up the patients in the three month and six month and one year. After One year According to the different clinical outcomes, the patients were divided into a good outcome group and a poor outcome group.Compare the indicatrix of the patients.Single and multiple factor to explore the risk factors that may affect the long-tern prognosis. Results: In the 58 patients there are 42 patients with deep venous thrombosis(72.4%).There are 38 patients appearance dyspnea(65.5%).Others appearance contain thoracalgia(29.3%),apopsychia(17.2%),cough(15.5%),hemoptysis(6.9%),nausea and vomit(1.7%),febrile(1.7%).On the manageement of the patients contain thrombolysis(46.6%)and anticoagulation(53.4%).During the treatment there are 4 patients dead(6.8%),4 patients recurrence PTE(7.4%)and there are 2 patients development into CTEPH(3.7%).Compare the indicatrix of the patients, between two groups, here were not significant differences in the age, withing right ventricular dysfunction, withing shock, the management(P=0.037,P=0.044,P=0.013,P=0.034).Conclusions: In the study there were 4 patients recurrence PTE(7.4%)and there are 2 patients development into CTEPH(3.7%)and 4 patients dead(6.8%).
