Research On Chinese Medical Literature And Treatment Rules Of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objectives: To explore the treatment rules of ankylosing spondylitis(AS)in traditional Chinese medical therapy through the literature and clinical medical record,and to improve the understanding of clinical characteristics of ankylosing spondylitis.Methods: The author retrievals literature from 1996 to 2016 on treatment of Chinese internal medicine for ankylosing spondylitis,screen and select literatures meeting the inclusion criteria,analyzes the data through Excel,and concludes the common syndromes,decoctions and drugs,and the treatment rules of ankylosing spondylitis in traditional Chinese medical therapy.At the same time,60 medical cases of ankylosing spondylitis from First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected and syndromes,decoctions and drugs were analyzed.After commonly used drug frequency is obtained,data have been analyzed,sorted,induced with association rules analysis in SPSS and the relationship between syndromes and decoctions would be analyzed.Results: There are 173 literatures meeting the inclusion criteria.It is concluded 9 common syndromes,9 decoctions and 8 types of common drugs in the treatment of the disease.From 60 medical cases,there are 3 common syndromes,3 decoctions,6 types(37 kinds)of common drugs are summed up.1.common syndromes in the literatures included patterns of liver and kidney deficiency,internal brewing of dampness-heat,impediment of wind-cold-dampness,obstruction of phlegm and blood stasis,kidney deficiency and cold governing vessel,kidney deficiency and empty governing vessel,qi and blood deficiency,kidney deficiency and dampness-heat,kidney deficiency and blood stasis,among which liver and kidney deficiency pattern had the highest frequency.Common decoctions included Kidney-Supplementing and Governing-Vessel–Strengthening Decoction,Mysterious Four Powder,Pubescent Angelica and Mistletoe Decoction,Kidney Impediment Decoction,Vertebra-Strengthening Decoction,among which Kidney-Supplementing and Governing-Vessel–Strengthening Decoction had the highest frequency.Common drugs included deficiency-nourishing drugs,wind-dampness dispelling drugs,blood-activating and stasis-eliminating drugs,heat clearing drugs,diaphoretics,interior-warming drugs,dampness-removing by promoting diuresis drugs,qi-regulating drugs,among which deficiency-nourishing drugs had the highest frequency.2.Common syndrome types in clinical research included pattern of liver and kidney deficiency,intermingling phlem and static blood,impediment of wind-cold-dampness.Commonly used decoctions included Right-Restoring Beverage,Generalized Pain Stasis-Expelling Decoction,Pubescent Angelica and Mistletoe Decoction.There were 6 types of common drugs: deficiency-nourishing drugs,blood-activating drugs,interior-warming drugs,wind-dampness dispelling drugs,diaphoretics,qi-regulating drugs,among which deficiency-nourishing drugs had the highest frequency.As for the drug compatibility,the most common types of drug compatibility in quadratic correlation are: licorice with rehmannia glutinosa;eucommia ulmoides with rehmannia glutinosa;cinnamon with rehmannia glutinosa.The most common types of drug compatibility in three-phase correlation analysis are eucommia ulmoides with rehmannia glutinosa,liquorice;cinnamon with rehmannia glutinosa,liquorice;rehmannia glutinosa with cinnamon,eucommia ulmoides.The most common types of drug compatibility in four-phase correlation analysis are cinnamon with rehmannia glutinosa,licorice,eucommia ulmoides;licorice with aconitum carmichaeli debx,zingiber oj-jicinale rosc,rehmannia glutinosa;eucommia ulmoides with aconitum carmichaeli debx,zingiber oj-jicinale rosc,rehmannia glutinosa.Conclusions: 1.The vital qi is an decisive factor for the attack of AS;2.The basic therapeutic principles include: to supplement deficiency and culture the primary qi,clear heat and disinhibit dampness,dispel wind and disperse cold,activate blood and transform stasis,transform phlegm and soften hardness.3.Correlation analysis method and data mining is beneficial to help medical workers to analyze the patterns of AS and provide clinical insights.
