Purpose:The pulp for healthy teeth normal function exercise is essential,vital pulp can induce dental pulp stem cells to induce odontoblast differentiation,and the formation of dentin bridge barrier to prevent microbial invasion.Capping is a vital clinically common preservation methods,namely on the dentin surface close to the pulp or have been exposed pulp wound,covering the preparation can make the pulp tissue recovery,to prevent bacterial infection,protect the pulp,so as to maintain the normal function of teeth.Therefore,choosing appropriate capping agent to induce formation of dentin bridge is the key research direction of vital pulp.The commonly used pulp capping agent Ca(o H)2 and MTA,although the competitive advantage,but also has the defects of.IRoot BP Plus is a new type of pre mixed bioactive ceramic material,has good biological compatibility,biological activity,due to closure.This experiment to BP iRoot plus as cover material pulp,in beagle dogs direct pulp capping,were observed after injury calcific bridge formation degree and pulp inflammation to reflect the situation,exploration iRoot BP plus as a direct cover the feasibility of the pulp.Method:Two of 10 month old beagle dogs selected.The 72 teeth is selected as the research object,8 weeks and 12 weeks two experimental period randomly divided into iRoot BP plus group,MTA group and control group,respectively to BP iRoot plus,MTA pulp capping,finally glass ionomer.Postoperative 8 weeks and 12 weeks were allocated experimental teeth,the sample was obtained for histological sections,staining with hematoxylin eosin,the pulps were calcified bridge formation and dental pulp inflammation tissue evaluation and grading.Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon rank sum test.Result:8 and 12 weeks after the iRoot BP Plus group and MTA group,most of the specimens can form a complete calcification bridge,without pulp inflammation.The blank group were no calcified bridge formed,and pulp were inflammatory reaction(P > 0.05).Conclusion:(1)The degree of calcification bridge formation results it can be concluded that the iRoot BP Plus,MTA can induce the formation of calcified bridge.(2)From the pulpitis situation it can be concluded that the iRoot BP Plus,MTA has the good effect of inflammation.(3)iRoot BP Plus is a similar MTA capping agent.
