Objective: To review the research on polymyositis(PM/DM) syndrome differentiation law. Methods: totally since December 2010 and 2015 inpatients and outpatients with 60 cases and 16 cases of male, female 44 cases, according to 1994 in the people's Republic of China medicine industry standard TCM syndrome diagnosis and curative effect part, 2011 of China Association of Chinese medicine of polymyositis and dermatomyositis guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of TCM Syndromes of statistical analysis.Statistical results: Heat toxin syndrome, Damp heat syndrome, Cold dampness syndrome, Lung and spleen qi deficiency is a common syndrome of this disease. The age, sex, course of disease and laboratory indexes were recorded, and the regularity between the above factors and the four types of syndrome was then used to find the statistical method. Results:(1)The male and female cases were 1:2.6, and there was no statistical significance between the sex and the four types of syndrome(P>0.05).(2)The age of the patients was 40-55 years old, but there was no significant correlation between the age and the four types of syndrome(P>0.05).(3)Four types according to the course of time the average size is as follows: Lung and spleen qi deficiency is a common syndrome > Cold dampness syndrome > Damp heat syndrome> Heat toxin syndrome. There were significant differences in between the four syndromes(4),C-reactive protein, but was no significance(P > 0.05), or with the severity of the disease. And creatine kinase(CK), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), aspartate aminotransferase(AST) in the correlation of different types of syndrome differentiation(P<0.05), Laboratory indexes of erythrocyte sedimentation rate can be used as a reference index of TCM syndrome differentiation. Anti nuclear antibody spectrum is only used as a diagnostic basis for the disease, and there is no significant correlation(P>0.05). Conclusion: The incidence of PM/DM in men and women were seen, the ratio of male to female was 1:2.6. Course, ESR,creatine kinase(CK), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), aspartic acid amino shift enzyme(AST) and TCM syndrome type there is a correlation can be as the reference index, CRP, Anti nuclear antibody spectrum and four card type, there is no significant correlation between.
