Objective: To discuss the clinical efficacy of lengthened PFNA(anti rotation proximal femoral intramedullary nail) and proximal femoral locking plate in the treatment of subtrochanteric femoral fracture. Methods: Retrospective analysis of 30 cases of subtrochanteric femoral fracture treated by 2013-2015 in the Department of orthopedics of Shandong Provincial Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital. The 30 cases were treated with lengthened PFNA and proximal femoral locking plate for the treatment of two cases. Which extended PFNA group of 20 people, proximal femoral locking plate group of 10 people, analysis of the selection of the patients before the preparation, clinical treatment, postoperative healing and a series of related conditions. Results: Through the treatment and control of the two groups of patients with comprehensive treatment results comparative analysis: lengthened PFNA therapy than with femoral proximal locking plate technique in intraoperative bleeding volume, operation time, wound healing time and postoperative after loading time, operation failure rate compared to have the advantage(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in Harris scores between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Lengthened PFNA operation treatment with less trauma, less bleeding, faster postoperative recovery and less chance of healing and other advantages of the treatment of subtrochanteric femoral fracture with good clinical efficacy.
