Objective:This study's aim is to observe the Hu Xin soup's clinical curative effect on coronary angina pectoris and the influence on ischemic preconditioning(IPC). At the same time, we will deeply explore the mechanism of IPC. That is expected to use traditional Chinese medicine method to stimulate myocardial endogenous protection and provide a new approach for the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease. Methods:This research randomly divides the 60 patients who meet the criterion into 2groups:treatment group and control group. Each group includes 30 patients. Control group is treated with suitable western medicine; the treatment group is treated with hu xin soup which is provided twice a day besides the treatment of western medicine. The whole course of treatment was 4 weeks. After the treatment, comparing the two groups before and after the treatment of the followings:Chinese medicine symptom integral and curative effect; angina pectoris' integral and curative effect; changes of serum superoxyde dismutase(SOD), and the relevant security index. After the treatment, we carried out two consecutive exercise stress test and the interval of the first exercise testing (EX1) and the second exercise testing (EX2) were 15 minutes, recording the observation indicators for statistical analysis and evaluating the effect on IPC.Results:1.According to the statistical results, the total effective rate of the treatment group(90.00%) of the TCM symptom score's improvement is higher than the control group (73.33%). The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); TCM syndrome integral of the treatment group about chest pain, chest tightness and palpitations improved more obviously than the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05).2.About the angina pectoris curative effect, the treatment group's total effective rate (93.33%) is higher than the control group total effective rate (80.00%), and the difference between groups was statistically significant (P< 0.05).3. Patients'serum SOD value was compared:before the treatment, the result of the comparison between groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05). After the treatment, the treatment group's SOD value increased more significantly than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05);4.Clinical evaluation of the IPC was compared:two groups'observation objects in the EX2 is better improved than in the EX1 (P< 0.05); Comparing the difference value between EX2 and EX1 showed that heart rate systolic blood pressure product (RPP) and ST segment decrease 1 mm time(T-STD) better improved in treatment group than control group, the result was statistically significant(P<0.05), maximum of ST segment(STDmax) and the total time in the test (ET) were compared between the groups, the results were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Hu Xin soup with suitable western medicine treatment better improved than the patients with coronary angina pectoris(heart-blood stagnation syndrome) is purely treated with western medicine in the TCM symptoms and angina symptoms aspects.2. For patients with stable angina pectoris of coronary artery disease, Hu Xin soup promoted the process when exercise induced IPC which has protective effect on myocardium.3.After clinical treatment, the treatment group patients'serum SOD value were higher than control group's and that may be one of the mechanisms of the IPC.
