Regulation" Shuang Gu Yi Tong "acupuncture Therapy On Ankylosing Spondylitis With Osteoporosis In Patients With OPG/RANKL/RANK

Objective:Combining "Shuang Gu Yi Tong" acupuncture with Xian ling gu bao capsule in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis patients with osteoporosis,observing the changes of patients' symptoms, signs, ESR,CRP,OPG and OPG/RANKL,exploring the regulating mechanism of OPG/RANKL/RANK system on the patients by "Shuang Gu Yi Tong" acupuncture,then to provide new ideas for the etiology and treatment.Methods:Collected 55 patients with ankylosing spondylitis and osteoporosis from Shanxi province hospital rheumatology outpatient and inpatient department, divided them into the treatment group and the control group randomly. Both of them took Xian ling gu bao capsule. And the treatment group added the "Shuang Gu Yi Tong" acupuncture which takes Guan yuan, Zu san li(double), Jia ji points, A shi points, Wei zhong(double).Guan yuan point: use of oblique acupuncture needle to the Qi hai point direction. Zu san li,Jia ji and Wei zhong points : use needle piercing.One time 30 minutes,3 times a week,2 weeks a course,and a total of 6 courses. Before and after treatment,recording TCM symptoms integral,BASDAI and BASFI integral parameter,testing blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney function,ESR,CRP,OPG,OPG/RANKL rate and bone density.Then have the statistical analysis of data.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 92.86%,while control group was 81.48%.There is a significant difference of total effectiveness(P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM symptoms integral of two groups are lower than before,there are significant differences(P<0.01). The treatment group was better than the control group.Index comparison before and after treatment of various signs,after treatment the BASDAI and BASFI integral parameter had an advantage in treatment group compared with control group(P<0.01).Compared with before treatment,ESR and CRP as inflammation indexes were significantly reduced after treatment(P<0.00).OPG and OPG/RANKL rate in treatment group were decreased which superior to those in control group(P< 0.05). Bone density increased after treatment in both groups,treatment group is better than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with simply using xian ling gu bao capsules, combined "Shuang gu yi tong" acupuncture with xian ling gu bao capsule in treating patients with AS and OP can obviously improve the patient's symptoms and signs, increase bone density, reduce the ESR,CRP, OPG,OPG/RANKL rate, and partly delay the progression of the disease.
