Clinical Observation Of Adjuvant Therapy In Treating Children'sprimary Nephrotic Syndrome With The Nephropathy Therapeuticcomputer Apparatus And Chinese Herb Point Application Therapy

Objective: The objective of this study is to observe the clinical curative effect of the treatment of children's primary nephrotic syndrome( PNS) with the Type WLSY-8000 nephropathy therapeutic computer apparatus and acupoints application of Chinese herbs for providing a basis for further application and popularization clinically.Methods: 80 patients who meet the criteria were collected from the hospitalized patients of the children's hospital of SHANXI from October 2014 to May 2015. The patients were divided into two groups with the random number method. There were40 patients in the treatment group and 40 patients in the control group. Objectives in the treatment group were treated with the routine medical methods, nephropathy therapeutic computer apparatus and acupoints application of Chinese herbs.Objectives in the control group were treated with the routine medical methods alone.The routine therapy is to use enough hormones prednisone 2mg/kg, some symptomatic support therapies like furosemide and anticoagulant etc based on the results of the laboratory data. Besides of these, the treatment group also used the nephropathy therapeutic computer apparatus and acupoints application of Chinese herbs. The qualitative situation of urinary protein and situation of the edema were observed at the phase of 3d, 7d, 10 d, 14 d. The quantitative situation of serum albumin and urine protein, the blood routine examination and the renal function were observed at the phase of 7d, 14 d. We also recorded the scores of the Clinical Symptoms of Traditional Chinese Medicine List before the treatment and 14 d. The two groups were compared to each other based on the calculation of all the data and materials achieved.Results:1. The total effective rate of nephropathy therapeutic computer apparatus and acupoints application of Chinese herbs group(traditional Chinese medicine standard97.5%, Western medicine standard 95%) is better than the control group( TCM standard 95%, Western medicine standard 93.5%), but there is no significant difference between two groups by the rank-sum test. 2. There's big difference on edema disappeared individuals between the two groups on the 7d and 10d(P<0.05). 3.The treatment group is better than the control group on the decrease of weight,abdominal girth and calf circumference, the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05). 4. The rise of serum albumin level of treatment group is higher than the control group on the 7d after treatment. The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05). But there is no significant difference of the rise of serum albumin level between the two groups on the 14d(P>0.05). 5. There is a significant difference in the number of cases whose urine protein turned negative between two groups on the 3d,7d, 10 d, 14d(P<0.05). The cases whose urine protein turned negative of treatment group is more than treatment group. 6. The result of the quantity of urine protein of two groups shows that the treatment group is better than control group in the 24 h urine protein excretion after 7d and 14 d, the difference is significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Both of the two treatments have clinical effect on primary nephrotic syndrome(PNS), while the difference of total effective rate of two groups has no statistical significance under the Curative Effect of Chinese Traditional Medicine Standard and the Curative Effect of Western Medicine Standard(P>0.05). The result shows that the application of the two auxiliary methods could not significantly improve the total effective rate. The therapy of treatment group can shorten the edema diminishing time, promote the edema diminishing degree, facilitate the urine protein to be negative and increase the level of serum albumin in a greater degree. The treatment of nephropathy therapeutic computer apparatus and acupoints application of Chinese herbs is safe and reliable and easy to operation. At the same time, it helps to decrease the liver and kidney burden which is caused by taking excessive oral medicine. What's more, it also corresponds to the physiological characteristics of children and is worth popularizing and applying clinically.
