Correlation Between TCM Constitution In Early Pregnancy,Glycated Hemoglobin Levels And Gestational Diabetes

Objective: To investigate the relevance between traditional chinese medicine(TCM)constitution of early pregnancy and glycated hemoglobin levels and gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),from the perspective of treating the undiseased,carry on the Chinese medicine physique recuperation to the high risk crowd,provide a new method for clinical prevention of GDM,build prenatal care model with TCM characteristics.Methods: This study use cross-sectional survey,a survey of pregnant women with regular prenatal care in the Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2015 to February 2016 is conducted,select 105 cases of pregnant women as the disease group according to the diagnostic criteria of GDM,and 105 cases of healthy pregnant women are selected as control group from 112 cases healthy pregnant women by simple random sampling,use a self-made diabetic pregnancy epidemiological questionnaire(see appendix 1)to survey the respondent,the survey results is input SPSS,to establish a database.All data use SPSS 21.0 statistical software for processing,it will adopt the test of two independent samples for statistical analysis,and use mean ± standard deviation for statistical description;count data use χ~2 test for analysis,for comparison of two groups of constitution it uses Fisher’s exact configuration,and logistic regression analysis is used to study the correlation factors of GDM.Results:(1)The main types of TCM constitution identification in the GDM group of pregnant women are biased constitution of phlegm dampness,followed by Yin deficiency,the main body types of normal pregnant women are the deficiency of Yang and Yin.There are different between the GDM group and the normal group of pregnant women constituted constitution.There are significant differences in GDM group and the normal group of pregnant women constituted constitution,P = 0.02 <0.05 difference has statistical significance;(2)There is a significant difference in the level of glycosylated hemoglobin between GDM pregnant women and heathy pregnant women,and the difference is statistically significant(p<0.05);(3)Pre-pregnancy body mass index,family history of diabetes,PCOS history,partial addicted to diet correlated with the incidence of GDM;(4)Through GDM related factors logistic regression analysis show that: family history of diabetes,phlegm and dampness,glycated hemoglobin levels and GDM were positively correlated,the corrfficient of correlation were 1.247、1.209、2.261,the value of OR were 3.351、3.479、9.596.Conclusion:(1)Phlegm dampness constitution it the biased constitution of GDM;(2)Glycated hemoglobin levels are positively correlated with GDM,it has some early predictive value for the occurrence of GDM;(3)Multivariate logistic regression analysis show that: family history of diabetes,phlegm,glycated hemoglobin level is an independent risk factor for GDM.
