Objective: Through the clinical research on the acupuncture of the back-shu and front-mu points for treatment of cerebral palsy,and by observing the clinical efficacy including gross motor function,intelligence,physical growth and the times of infection(respiratory tract and digestive tract)etc,so as to make it clear that the effectiveness of the acupuncture of the back-shu and front-mu points for treatment of cerebral palsy,which provides a new and effective method and ideas for clinical treatment of cerebral palsy.Methods: Select 72 cases accorded with the diagnostic standard of cerebral palsy and the classification of diseases of traditional Chinese medicine for the " five late" "five soft" "five hard" were randomly divided into two groups,and 36 cases in each group,who were in the children,s encephalopathy treatment and rehabilitation center of the first affiliated hospital of Henan University of TCM from April 2015 to march 2016.The treatment group adopted the routine rehabilitation treatment plus the back-shu and front-mu points acupuncture.Routine rehabilitation therapy including massage,sports therapy,scalp acupuncture and physical therapy according to the operating specifications.The back-shu and front-mu points acupuncture treatment executed by professional acupuncture therapist according to the operating specifications.The control group only adopted routine rehabilitation therapy.Course: 4 weeks as a course and a total of 2 courses.The implementation of blind method: this study adopted the method of the separation of the study subjects,group manager and diagnosing evaluators,and the last one dosen't know the condition of grouping and treatment as the specificity of routine rehabilitation treatment and the acupuncture treatment.Evaluation time: before and after the treatment.Evaluation content: the gross motor function,intelligence,physique(weight,height)and the times of infection(respiratory tract and digestive tract).Result: The treatment group finally completed 32 cases,and 31 cases of the control group.There was no statistical difference on the aspects of sex,age,weight,height gross motor functionand intelligence before the treatment.There were obviously differences on the aspects of gross motor function,intelligence evaluation(P<0.05)on the self-contrast before and after the treatment,which illustrated that the back-shu and front-mu points acupuncture treatment and the routine rehabilitation treatment all have remarkable effect in treating cerebral palsy.There were statistical differences on the aspects of gross motor function and intelligence(P<0.05)in the treatment group,which were better than the control group;There were statistical differences on the aspects of the weight and height increases(P<0.05)in the treatment group after the treatment;There was statistical difference on the aspect of the times of infection(P<0.05)in the treatment group,which was less than the control group during the treatment.The clinic curative effect comparison between two groups,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.5%,and67.7% in the control group,there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05),which illustrated that the clinical curative effects were better based on the conventional rehabilitation combined with the back-shu and front-mu points acupuncture.Conclusion:On the basis of conventional rehabilitation therapy plus the back-shu and front-mu points acupuncture in the treatment of cerebral palsy,improvement in children with cerebral palsy gross motor function,intelligence,physical growth and reduce the times of infection have a better effect,better than with conventional rehabilitation group.
