Objective : This study aimed to investigate the correlationship of the blood lipids, cholecystokinin and gallbladder contractive function in the Qinghai Tibetan patients with gallstones and provide a new idea for preventing the gallstones in Qinghai Tibetan people. Methods: 31 Qinghai Tibetan patients who were diagnosed with gallstones were selected as the Tibetan gallstone group; At the same time 30 physical examination Qinghai Tibetan healthy people were selected as the Tibetan physical examination group. ALL the patients' blood lipids were detection by the full automatic biochemical analyzer, which contained total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), high density lipoprotein(HDL), low density lipoprotein(LDL), apolipoprotein a(APOA), apolipoprotein b(APOB). B-scan ultrasonography was used to determine the patients' gallbladder contractive function. According to compare with the patients' gallbladder volume in fasting state, the minimum gallbladder volume and the residual index after the meal between the two group to test the gallbladder contractive function. The enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the concentration of cholecystokinin.Results:1. The level of TC in Tibetan gallstone group was significant higher than that in Tibetan physical examination group. Tibetan gallstone group patients' HDL level was significant lower than that in the Tibetan physical examination group. 2. Qinghai Tibetan gallstone group patients' the minimum gallbladder volume after the meal and the residual index were significant higher than the Tibetan physical examination group. There's no significance in patients' gallbladder volume in fasting state between the two group. 3. Qinghai Tibetan gallstone group patients' cholecystokinin level in fasting state were higher than the Tibetan physical examination group, but there's no statistical significance between them. The level of Qinghai Tibetan gallstone group patients' cholecystokinin after the meal was significant higher than another group. Conclusion: 1. The higher TC level and the lower HDL level may cause gallstones in Qinghai Tibetan population, but there's no obvious relationship about the gallstones and the level of TG, LDL, APOA and APOB. 2. Abnormal increased postprandial CCK level in some extent suggest us that the gallbladder contraction function decline, and the gallbladder contraction function decline may be associated with the formation of gallstones in Qinghai Tibetan people.
