Study Of Wuji Baifeng Pills On Risperidone Induced Hyperlipidemia Effect

Objective: To investigate the effect of Wuji Baifeng pills in female schizophrenic patients treated with risperidone induced hyperprolactinemia and its safety.Methods: Eligible for screening of female schizophrenia patients, taking risperidone in the treatment of 4 weeks, prolactin levels higher than 30 ng / ml in the group, in line with the standard requirements of 92 patients, to visit time sequence using random number table were randomly divided into group, were randomly divided into for three groups: research study group and aripiprazole Wuji Baifeng pills control group and blank control group. Evaluation index: the change of the positive and negative symptoms scale(PANSS), serum prolactin, ADL, and drug adverse reaction(TESS) were observed in the end of the study.Results: Wuji Baifeng pill group completed 28 cases, aripiprazole group completed 30 cases, control group 30 cases completed. The results of the study show that the demographic background data and scale scores of the three groups are comparable, and the difference is not statistically significant. Effectiveness: three groups of PANSS score at the end of the treatment, the difference was not statistically significant. There was no significant difference in serum prolactin levels between the three groups before treatment(P > 0.05). Four weeks after the end of the study, differences of Wuji Baifeng pills group and aripiprazole group no statistical significance(P = 0.097. > 0.05), compared Wuji Baifeng pills group and aripiprazole group and blank control group, serum prolactin level decreased significantly. At the end of the study, the difference was not statistically significant at the end of ADL. Safety: the adverse reaction of Wuji Baifeng pills group had 7 cases, the adverse reaction of aripiprazole group has 6 cases and control adverse reactions of the two groups with 8 cases. There was no significant difference between the two two groups and three groups.Conclusion: Aripiprazole can reduce risperidone induced high levels of prolactin, and do not affect the therapeutic effect, safety, and reported consistent. Wuji Baifeng pill in the treatment of risperidone induced high prolactin hyperlipidemia and aripiprazole effect, good safety, also do not affect the treatment of psychiatric symptoms.
