Large diameter artificial blood vessels have been commercialized, but there is no ideal of small diameter artificial blood vessels(<6mm) for clinical application.Studies have shown that the artificial blood vessel with inner helix groove can change the velocity distribution near the blood vessel wall, promote blood flow wall shear stress, achieve the goal that improving the long-term patency rate of artificial blood vessels, especially small diameter artificial blood vessels.In the preparation methods of artificial blood vessels, electrostatic spinning technology has the characteristics of high efficiency, convenient and flexible, because these good qualities, prepared by this method can be large specific surface area, high morphology and uniform porosity of artificial blood vessels.Combining with the advantages of artificial blood vessels with inner helix groove and the electrostatic spinning technology, the aim of this research is to provide a kind of small diameter artificial blood vessels based on electrostatic spinning preparation equipment, and process optimization,and to be used to solve the existing preparation technology cannot take the spiral flute of small diameter artificial blood vessels.This topic research content including electrostatic spinning device preparation of small diameter artificial blood vessels, artificial blood vessels with inner helix groove optimization of preparation process, preparation of artificial blood vessels material selection, spinning artificial blood vessels with inner helix groove, and testing the artificial blood vessels samples performance index and biological compatibility, finally carrying on the preliminary animal experiments in rabbit model.This research has formed a complete a set of electrostatic spinning device preparation of small diameter artificial blood vessels, which is composed of high voltage power supply module, the trace injection pump module, receiver module, etc, has the advantages of simple structure, modular design, parameter setting, convenient maintenance.Using the receiver with the method of stainless steel bar with wire, and selecting the proportion is L- lactic acid and epsilon- caprolactone copolymer(PLCL), and solvent is six fluorine isopropyl alcohol, and the concentration 10%, through this device preparation of a batch of small diameter artificial blood vessels.Scanning electron microscope observation can be concluded that the samples, small diameter artificial vascular morphology and uniform wall smooth and successive spiral groove.The samples cut into 3 x 3 mm small squares to do the hemolysis rate experiment, and the results < 5% shows that the medicinal material meets the hemolysis test requirements. The ? 2.5 mm inner diameter artificial blood vessels are implanted into rabbit abdominal aorta, through angiographic observations blood flowing, found in 47 days vascular patency is good, but there is appeared the vessels aneurysm at the stitching point which is far from the heart.In addition, in the process of preparation of removed after vascular,there is likely to damage the lining of blood vessels, removing method still need further exploration.In conclusion, the research has successful formed electrostatic spinning device preparation of small diameter artificial blood vessels, the optimized technology of preparation of artificial blood vessels, through tests on the morphology and biological compatibility, and carries on the preliminary animal experiments implanted in rabbit abdominal aorta.
