Objective To investigate the changes and significance of transient receptor potential canonical 6(TRPC6) and high conductance calcium-activated potassium channel(BKCa) in umbilical cord blood of pregnant woman with preeclampsia. Methods We selected 60 pregnant women with preeclampsia( mild 30,severe30),and recruited 50 pregnant women as a control group. The level of each group of TRPC6 and BKCa was measured by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).We analyzed the relationship between TRPC6?BKCa and blood pressure?Biochemical indexes?24h-urinary proteins birth weight in three groups.Results(1) The umbilical cord blood serum levels of TRPC6 in mild and severe preeclampsia group were significantly higher than the control group, difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). And no difference between the mild preeclampsia group and severe preeclampsia group(P>0.05).In mild and severe preeclampsia group, umbilical cord blood serum level of TRPC6 were both negatively related with neonatal birth weight(P<0.05), But no correlation with contral group(P>0.05).(2)Umbilical cord blood serum BKCa levels are highly expressed in control group than in mild and severe preeclampsia group, difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference was found between the mild preeclampsia group and severe preeclampsia group(p>0.05). In mild and severe preeclampsia group, umbilical cord blood serum level of BKCa were both positively related with neonatal birth weight(P<0.05), But no correlation with control group(P>0.05).Conclusion There were higher level of TRPC6 and lower level BKCa in umbilical cord blood of preeclampsia patients than in control group, and the level was obviously related with neonatal birth weight. There may be some correlations between TRPC6 channel and BKCa channel and neonatal birth weight. This suggests that TRPC6 channel and BKCa channel had taken part in the occurrence of FGR.
