ObjectiveTo compare the protective effects of oxygenated blood cardioplegia and histidine-tryptophan-ketoglutarate cardioplegia(HTK cardioplegia) on myocardium during cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) in immature pediatric patients.MethodsFrom January 2015 to December2015,60 cases pediatric patients aged from 1 to 3 years and weighed from 2.5kg to 20 kg were randomly divided into two groups, oxygenated blood cardioplegia group(OBC group) and HTK group(n=30).The samples of arterial blood were collected from pediatric patients respectively according the following time points: before CPB(T0)?10 minutes after aortic cross-clamping(ACC)(T1)?5 minutes after cross-clamping remission(CCR)(T2)?5 minutes after CPB(T3)and 60 minutes after CPB(T4).The contents of CK-MB?LDH and c Tn I were detected by using ELISA method and at the same time all datas of each case was recorded.ResultsThere was no statistically significant difference in the content of CK-MB,LDHand c Tn I before CPB( T0) among two groups(P>0.05).Though the content of myocardial enzymes gradually increased with procession of CPB; as well the increases of myocardial enzymes content in HTK group was lower significantly than in OBC group(P <0.05).ConclusionThe damage of immature myocardium in HTK group was milder than in OBC group, as a result, HTK group had better prtective effects on immature myocardium in those pediatric patients during heart operations with CPB.
