| Objective Through clinical observation, to investigate the curative effect of the traditional chinese medicine powder Fuchun San No.Ⅱ, on the treat of the early scar itching after burn wound healing.Methods According to the inclusion criteria, 85 cases of hospitalized patients were selected from the department of burn and plastic surgery of Ningxia Medical University General Hospital. Adopting the method of random by throwing coins, selected on one side of the body as the experimental group, and the one side of the body as the control group. choose the itching wounds about 2% of body surface in the same part of both sides of the body. Experimental group smear Fu Chun San No. Ⅱ on the itching wound, and control group wash the itching wound with normal saline, time interval 12 hours, for 3 days. Observe the changes of itching score before and after treatment in two groups.Results The effective of the experimental group was significantly better than the control group, the pruritus score after treatment of this two groups has significant difference(P <0.05), the pruritus score after treatment of the experimental group were significantly decreased than before, the intra-group comparison has significant difference(P <0.05), but in the 6 point after treatment the pruritus score is completely consistent with before treatment. There was no significant difference in itching scores of control group before and after treatment.Conclusions Fuchun San No.Ⅱ, the traditional chinese medicine powder were effective in the treatment of scar itching after burn wound healing, effective time within 6 hours, and the efficacy was not affected by the patient’s age, gender, injury mechanism and the severity of the burn. |
