The Effect On The Chloasma Of Liver Depression And Blood Stasis Type Treated With The Combination Of Acupuncture And Moxibust Ion With Seed-sized Moxa Cone

ObjectiveBy observing the changes of the lesion area and color of the lesion skin before and after the treatment,we can scientifically evaluate the effect on the Liver Depression and Blood Stasis Chloasma treated with the combination of acupuncture and wheat moxibustion.MethodsConsidering the clinical shedding rate of 15%,Sixty-nine outpatients with Chloasma of Liver Depression and Blood Stasis Type were enrolled in the test totally,which were randomly set into two group,the treatment group with 34 cases,and the control group 35 cases.The former were treated with the oral tablets of Xiaobanpian(each time 5 tablets,3 times a day)and the Hydroquinone Cream for external use(wipping on the spots appropriately).while the latter were dealt with the combination of acupuncture and wheat moxibustion(every three days,twice per-week)plus tablets of Xiaobanpian(each time 5 tablets,3 times a day),4 weeks for a treating-course and to assess the effect after two courses.The lesion skin will be recorded before and after the treatment by phone camera,and then compare the lesion area and color by Photoshop software,thus to assess the clinical efficacy of the two treatments.ResultsThe actual observation 62 cases,the treatment group of 30 cases and the control group 32 cases.The difference of the both group after treatment was obvious(P<0.05),which show that the effect of acupuncture combined with wheat moxibustion is more significant than the Hydroquinone Cream,both on the basis of oral tablets of Xiaobanpian;After the treatment,the lesion score of the area and color for the two groups were both lower than those before the treatment,which was statistically obvious(P<0.05).And the curative effect of the treatment group was obviously improved compared with the control group,which was significant(P<0.05).It show that the two methods both can largely ameliorate the skin lesion.But compared with the Hydroquinone Cream,the acupuncture combined with wheat moxibustion show better in clinical practice.ConclusionThe therapy of acupuncture combined with wheat moxibustion illustrate obvious clinical efficacy for the treatment of outpatients with Chloasma of Liver Depression and Blood Stasis Type,addressing both the symptom and the root of disease,the effect of which is reliable and with no adverse effect,so worthy of clinical extension.
