Objective:Based on related theory knowledge of venous thrombosis(Virchow's triad)and human anatomy and blood rheology,patients with patellar fracture were treated with self-adhesive elastic bandages postoperatively.The occurrence of postoperative lower extremity deep venous thrombosis(LEDVT),incidence and degree of articular effusion in knee joint,range of motion(ROM),and VAS score were observed.In-depth analysis of the influences of on patellar fracture was carried out,which can clarify all the advantages of self-adhesive elastic bandage use,promote its popularization and application and meet the needs of patients better.The study not only promotes the self-adhesive elastic bandage technology for patellar fracture,guides postoperative treatment and nursing of patients with patellar fracture,but also promotes their postoperative function recovery,reduces hospitalization stays and costs,improves patient's psychological and physiological satisfaction,and provides security for the patient's life and health.Methods:We combined theoretical knowledge of Department of orthopedics and Vascular surgery with human anatomy and blood rheology in our study.Between January 2014 and July 2016,a total of 123 cases,age ranging between 40 and 50 years old,with patellar fracture were randomly selected from the traumatic orthopedic ward of Yantaishan Hospital(Yantai),and these patients were assigned randomly to the self-adhesive elastic bandage group(n=57)and common bandage group(n=66)using the random number table.Corresponding bandages were adopted in two groups respectively after operation.There are 80 patients were remaining after removing the patients without follow-up.These patients were randomly divided into two groups,self adhesive elastic bandage group(n=40)and conventional bandaging group(n=40).Recovery conditions(LEDVT,articular effusion and ROM,and VAS score)of patients with self-adhesive elastic bandages were carefully observed on 2,7 and 14 days after treatment and on postoperative 35 day,while relevant information was recorded.The data of two groups of patients were collected,and SPSS 18.0 was used for data analysis.Therapeutic effects of two groups of patients treated with different bandages were analyzed.Results:The incidence of deep vein thrombosis was(11 cases)27.5%in the control group,and(4 cases)10%in the observation group;the incidence of postoperative articular effusion was(18 cases)45%in the control group,and(9cases)22.5%in the observation group;According to AKS score,the mean of knee joint function score at each time point in the observation group of patients was higher than in the control group,and the mean of all the data was higher than that of the control group;VAS pain score turned out to be the opposite of AKS score,especially in the early stage of the study(2 day and 7 day).Analysis showed that safety and efficacy of the treatment in the observation group was better than in the control group.Conclusions:The application of elastic bandage postoperatively on injured limb had good effects in patients with patellar fracture.On the basis of routine treatment and nursing,combination of self-adhesive elastic bandage can effectively prevent the occurrence of postoperative lower extremity deep vein thrombosis in patellar fracture patients,which also can reduce the occurrence of postoperative knee joint cavity effusion,and can promote the postoperative functional rehabilitation of patellar fracture,effectively control postoperative symptoms such as swelling,and pain,reduce their hospitalization stays,reduce hospitalization costs,and improve the patient's mental and physical satisfaction.Compared with common bandage,the effects of self-adhesive elastic bandage are better.It shows that the application of self-adhesive elastic bandage has good clinical effects in post-operation of patellar fracture,also has significant advantages and broad application prospect.
