The Effect Of Tonifying Kidney And Invigorating Spleen Method On Calcium And Phosphorus Metabolisms In CKD3 Phase Patients

Objective:To observe the effect of tonifying kidney and invigorating spleen method on the treatment of calcium and phosphorus abnormal metabolisms in patients of chronic kidney disease 3 phase(CKD3)Method:According to inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 603-stage chronic kidney disease cases were recruited from the out-patient or in-patient at the nephrology department in the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine(2014.10-2016.10).Subjects were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.During 6-month treatment course,basic treatment and calcium carbonate D3 was provided for control group,and additional Yishenbupi decoction was provided for treatment group.Serum calcium,serum phosphorus,parathyroid hormones,renal function,quantitative 24 h urinary protein,quantitative TCM symptom score were observed among subjects for safety evaluation,in order to provide clinical evidence for TCM treatment among CKD3 patients with deficiency of calcium and phosphorus in spleen and kidney.Result:During 6-month clinical trila,results were as following by statistics:(1)Serum calcium: after treatment,the average values in treatment group and control group were 2.13±0.19 and 1.92±0.13 respectively.The difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and thecurative effect of treatment group was superior to control group.(2)Serum phosphorus: after treatment,the average values in treatment group and control group were 1.34±0.02 and 1.45±0.03 respectively.The difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the curative effect of treatment group was superior to control group.(3)iPTH: after treatment,the average values in treatment group and control group were 72.16±6.27 and 76.12±6.43 respectively.The difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the curative effect of treatment group was superior to control group.(4)Serum creatinine: after treatment,the average values in treatment group and control group were 123.02±17.95 and 132.28±29.22 respectively.The difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the curative effect of treatment group was superior to control group.(5)Serum urea nitrogen: after treatment,the average values in treatment group and control group were 9.06±2.07 and 10.52±2.32 respectively.The difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the curative effect of treatment group was superior to control group.(6)Quantitative 24 h urinary protein: after treatment,the average values in treatment group and control group were 5.75±0.95 and 6.31±1.09 respectively.The difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the curative effect of treatment group was superior to control group.(7)Quantitative TCM symptom score: after treatment,the average values in treatment group and control group were 6.60±2.61 and 9.00±5.05 respectively.The difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the curative effect of treatment group was superior to controlgroup.Conclusion:(1)Yishenbupi decoction was able to effectively improve the abnormal indicators of calcium-phosphorus metabolism among CKD3 patients with deficiency of calcium and phosphorus in spleen and kidney.(2)Yishenbupi decoction effectively improved the calcium-phosphorus metabolism and prolonged the progression of renal function failure.
