| Objective: To investigate the variation of serum miR-214 and miR-106 b expression levels before and after surgery and its relationship to clinical-pathological parameters in patients with clear renal cell carcinoma(cRCC).Methods: A total of 45 patients with cRCC and 30 healthy controls were enrolled.Serum miR-214 and miR-106 b expression levels in patients with cRCC and healthy controls were detected using the real-time PCR.Results: Serum miR-214 expression before surgery in the clear renal cell carcinoma groups was higher than that after 1 month of surgery or the control groups(P<0.05).The serum miR-214 expression after 1 week of surgery in the clear renal cell carcinoma groups was higher than that afer 1 month of surgery or the control groups(P<0.05).There was no siginificant between the serum miR-214 expression after 1 month of surgery in the clear renal cell carcinoma groups and that in the control groups(P﹥0.05).Serum miR-106 b expression before surgery in the clear renal cell carcinoma groups was higher than that after 1 month of surgery or the control groups(P<0.05).The serum miR-106 b expression after 1 week of surgery in the clear renal cell carcinoma groups was higher than that afer 1 month of surgery or the control groups(P<0.05).There was no siginificant between the serum miR-106 b expression after 1 month of surgery in the clear renal cell carcinoma groups and that in the control groups(P﹥0.05).miR-214 levels yielded AUC of 0.858(95%CI:0.756,0.960;P<0.05)with 80.0% of sensitivity and 90.0% of specificity.miR-106 b levels yielded AUC of 0.876(95%CI:0.783,0.968;P<0.05)with 86.7% of sensitivity and 80.0% of specificity.Conclusions: Expression levels of serum miR-214 and miR-106 b in patients with cRCC were increased,while decreased after resection obviously.The result indicated that miR-214 and miR-106 b levels were closely related with cRCC.The miR-214 and miR-106 b can be regarded as a potential biomarker in cRCC. |
