The chemical composition of traditional Chinese medicine is very complex, and extraction and separation of its active ingredients is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine research. In this paper,we focused on the study and establishment of new extraction and separation methods by using novel solvents and materials, which can make the sample analysis process more efficiency, sensitivity and selectivity. The main contents were as follows:1.Theenzymecoatedmagneticbeadswerecombinedwith ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry technique to establish a simple, rapid and reliable approach for screening thrombin inhibitors from Danshen preparation.Protocatechuic aldehyde and salvianolic acid C were two thrombin inhibiting compounds, and the IC50 values were 286.11 and 66.09?g/mL,respectively.Our findings suggested that the proposed method was efficient in screening active compounds from medicinal plants.2.Ultrasonic-assisted and dispersive micro solid-phase extraction combined with ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography was used to extract and enrich of natural pigments in turmeric. The natural pigments was extracted by ionic liquids and then enriched with chitosan nanoparticles.Under the optimum conditions, the proposed method exhibited good linearity, low detection limits of 0.11–0.36 ng/mL,and the recoveries were ranging from 90.45%to 105.04%.3.A novel dispersive micro-solid-phase extraction?DMSPE?method using ultramicro chitosan as an adsorbent was proposed for the analysis of flavonols in Flos Sophorae.Various parameters affecting the extraction were investigated and optimized. After enrichment, the LODs and LOQs were 0.22–0.36 ng/mL and0.72–1.21 ng/mL,and their recoveries were 95.2–102.4%.4.A novel?-cyclodextrin based trace matrix solid-phase dispersion method was developed to extract phenolic compounds from honeysuckle samples and analysis using ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography.Under optimum conditions, the proposed method produced a good linearity?r2>0.99?,with LODs ranging from 1.62to 3.33 ng/mL,and the recoveries were 87.04–105.20%.This method required less reagents and a shorter extraction time in comparison with other reported approaches.5.Two flavonoid glycosides in lime fruit were extracted by miniaturized matrix solidphasedispersion,anddetectedbyultra-performanceliquid chromatography-ultraviolet.Ionic liquid was first used as green eluent.Experiments showed that the linear range of neohesperidin and naringin was 20-8000?g/g,and the LODs were 4.08 and 5.04?g/g.Compared with the conventional methods, this method has the advantages of high sensitivity and less reagent consumption.6.Multi-walled carbon nanotubes as pseudostationary phase for capillary electrophoresis coupled with sample stacking technique were used for the separation of iodines.Under the optimum conditions, the five iodine compounds were completely separated. The limits of detection were 19-156 ng/mL and the recoveries were in the range of 81.6-98.4%.
