Clinical Observation On Neck Type Cervical Spondylosis By Chiropractic Therapy With "3-neck Pionts"

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Chiropractic Therapy with "3-Neck Pionts" treat Neck Type of Cervical Spondylosis(NTCS).Compare the effects of Chiropractic Therapy with "3-Neck Pionts" and Chiropractic Therapy in treatment of NTCS.Find a more effective and simple treatment of NTCS and popularize it.MethodsSixty cases of NTCS from Guangzhou Huangpi Hospital were chosen,and divided randomly into experimental group(n=30,treated with Chiropractic Therapy)and control group(n=30,treated by Chiropractic Therapy with"3-Neck Pionts").All of them were treated every two or three days and treated for three times in a week.Noted down and analyzed the scores of Symptom,Sign scale and The Neck Disability Index(NDI)scale before and after the treatment.ResultsThe effect of experimental group and control group to acute NTCS were both 100%.The effects of the two groups were same,and there was no statistical difference between them(P>0.05).After the treatment,Both group’s score of Symptom,Sign scale and NDI scale after the treatment were notable smaller than them before the treatment.The average decrease of experimental group’s score of Symptom,Sign scale and NDI scale were 86.58%、78.86%.The control group’s were 87.72%、75.58%.The average decreases of two groups were same,and there was no statistical difference between them(P>0.05).ConclusionWhether with "3-Neck Pionts" or not,Chiropractic Therapy can effectively treat NTCS,reduce neck pain and increase the neck’s disability.Chiropractic Therapy is a method with significant and good effect for NTCS and deserves to be popularized for none of side effect.Chiropractic skill which was used for the treatment are very simple to learn even for young doctors.
