Objective:Through the retrospective study of medical records of hospitalized systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)in our hospital from 2006 to 2016,exploring the effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the overall survival rate and analysing prognostic factors of SLE patients,in order to provide some basis for developing a reasonable treatment program, improving efficacy and reducing mortality from now on.Methods:A total of 689 cases of SLE patients at our hospital from January 1st,2006 to December 31st,2016 were investigated retrospectively, which follow ed-up by.face to face,or followed-up by telephone to obtain the overall survival rate of patients, and to draw the survival curve graphs.According to clinic or report, factors which influence survival rate will be gatherd including general state?clinical manifestations?complication?laboratory examination and Chinese and Western medicine treatment by analyzed 181 patients' hospital information. All data will be analyzed by simple logist-ic regression analysis, then appraised by multiple factors logistic regression analysis further. The predictors that related with survival rate can be concluded in the end.Results:1.A total of 689 patients were enrolled in the study. At the end of follow-up,598 patients with SLE were followed up,91 patients lost, and the lost rate was 13.21%.598 cases of SLE patients died in 40 cases, including 6 males and 34 females;5 years,10 years,15 years,20-year survival rates were 97%,94%,90%,87%.2.Analyzing the clinical information on 181 cases and 56 indicators, simple logistic regression analysis revealed:hospitalization times,hospit-alizations,having medical insurance, good ccompliance, higher SLEDAI scor-es,tongue,a coating of the tongue, deficiency of disease,fever,photoaller-gy,joint pain, irregular heartbeats,epilepsy,infection,hypertension,pulmo-nary hypertension, cardiovascular damage, kidney damage, nervous systemdama ge,blood system damage, decreased red bloodcell cuont, loss of lymphocy-te,loss of hemoglobbin, thrombocytopenia,Erythrosedimenia accelerated,positiv-e of urine protein, positive of urine occult blood, positive of urinary wh ite blood cells, urine protein of 24 hour step up,C3 step down,C4 step dow n,impulsing, long term use of Traditional Chinese Medicine, using immunosup-pressant have statistical sence.Multipple factors logistic regre-ssion a nalysis revealed havingmedical insurance, irregular heartbeats, epilepsy, deficiency of disease, positive of urine protein, using immunosuppressant, long term use of traditional Chinese Medicine are independent predictors of survival rate.Besides having medical insurance, using immunosuppressant and long term use of traditional Chinese Medicine were positive predictor-s of survival rate, the existence or abnormal of other factors were the nagative predictors.Conclusion:1.Survival Rate of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital is a little higher than that is reported at home and abroad. This indicates that traditional Chinese medicine may have some effect on the patients with SLE,and it is also effective to reduce mortality rate.2.Traditional Chinese medicine works well in improving mental status, sleep quality,spleen-stomach function and mouth dryness of the patients. It contributes to enhance patients' life quality.
