Colorectal cancer is the three most common cancer in the world.a total of 14 million 100 thousand new cancer cases and 8 million 200 thousand cancer deaths in the world occur in 2012.It is estimated that 2012 the incidence of colorectal cancer in male and in women in China respectively is 16.9/100 thousand 11.6/100 thousand, mortality rates were male 9/10 thousand and female 6.1/10 million, according to the different human development index and the human colorectal cancer disease burden analysis showed that the development of the high index of colorectal cancer incidence and mortality is also higher. The liver metastasis of colorectal cancer is 50%,and the treatment of liver metastases is surgical treatment, local treatment of liver cancer, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, etc. For early colorectal cancer liver metastasis after comprehensive treatment can be cured, but 60%of patients with recurrence.Gender, age, tumor biological behavior and histological type, timing of treatment, and treatment mode were related to recurrence. In addition to the development in clinical and technical field about colorectal cancer metastasis to the liver disease,it should also continue to predict the prognosis of cancer care through multidisciplinary treatment and personalized treatment,to bring patients the least damage, reduce recurrence. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between risk factors and recurrence risk. This study was undertaken to investigate the risk factors associated with recurrence after resection of colorectal liver metastases, and the impact of these factors on recurrence-free survival. To help predict the recurrence of patients before or after surgery,to guide treatment, delay the time of the patient's recurrence, and even no recurrence,in order to achieve the purpose of treatment of cancer. Objective:To study the liver metastasis of colorectal cancer patient's gender, age, tumor biological behavior and histological type, treatment time, treatment,to explore the relationship between the related risk factors and tumor recurrence, provide the basis for comprehensive treatment of patients, improve patients' postoperative survival. Methods:A retrospective study was carried out in patients with liver metastases from rectal cancer who were treated at the Hospital from 1997 to 2013.The gender, age, tumor biological behavior and histological type, timing of treatment, treatment mode methods and other information were investigated.Univariate analysis and Kaplan-Meier survival curve were used to analyze the recurrence free survival and 3 year survival.Results:Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that the median recurrence-free survival of male patients male with recurrence of liver metastasis was 263 days, higher than that of female patients with recurrent liver metastasis 122 days,P=0.022;3 year overall survival time of the male patients with liver metastasis was 747 days, the female patients was 443 days,no significant difference between the two,P=0.087;the median recurrence-free survival of patients male with liver metastasis more than 3 was 229 days, the median recurrence-free survival of patients male with liver metastasis less than 3 was 272 days, here was no significant difference,P=0.448,more than 3 hepatic metastasis of liver metastasis in patients with a median of 3 years survival was 443 days, liver metastasis less than 3 liver metastasis in patients with a recurrence free survival time was 769 days, liver metastasis less than 3 patients with liver metastasis and 3 year survival time was significantly lower in patients with liver metastasis more than 3 than that of less than 3 liver metastasis,P=0.036.Conclusion:this study showed that the risk of relapse and gender, postoperative liver metastasis of the tumor, the number of related liver metastases. The relationship between surgery and local therapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and biological therapy remains to be studied.Multidisciplinary consultation model is the current trend of treatment, comprehensive treatment to improve the survival of patients, reduce recurrence, improve prognosis.
