A Recent Comparitive Analysis Of Clinical Efficacy About Fixed-Bearing And Mobile-Bearing Prostheses In Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty

Objective:The purpose is to compare the outcome of primary total knee arthroplasty by using a mobile-bearing and a fixed-bearing prosthesis.To compare the differences between the two prostheses in improving knee pain,correcting deformity and reconstructing function,and providing the basis for the clinical choice of prosthesis.Methods:A total of 118 patients(139 knees)were enrolled in this study.The patients were divided into two groups:the rotating group 35 cases(40 knees);fixed platform group of 83 cases(99 knees).Postoperative referral or telephone tracking was performed at a time,and the patients in the Rotating Platform group were compared with the Hospital of Special Surgery(HSS)at the time of the previous follow-up and the last follow-up.The Knee Society Scoring System,KSS)score and knee movement(Range of motion,ROM)and postoperative imaging data,complications and so on.All the data in each group were analyzed by SPSS19.0 software in two different types of prostheses after TKA.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Result:Of the 28 patients who had undergone a study of knee replacement,the patients were followed up and completed with the assessment,and there were no statistically significant differences in sex,age,course of disease,hypertension,diabetes,etc.between the two groups before surgery,and the prosthesis was not loosened,and the prosthesis was worn or disengaged.Imaging see the two groups of patients with prosthetic position and line of good,no prosthesis around the translucent line and renovation surgery.At the last follow-up,the HSS score of the patients in the rotating platform group was 92.9 ± 5.8,the KSS score was 91.5 ± 4.2,the ROM was 118.67 ±21.96;the HSS score of the fixed platform group was 93.4 ± 6.1,the KSS score was 92.3 ± 4.1 and the ROM was 115.67 ± 20.52.The HSS score,KSS score and ROM score of patients with two different prostheses were significantly higher than those before operation(P<0.05),and both the rotating platform group and the fixed platform group were statistically significant There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:According to the follow-up study of this follow-up study showed that:Rotating platform prosthesis and fixed platform prosthesis in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis can achieve good curative effect,postoperative short-term efficacy was no significant difference.
