| Objective:To analyse the incidence and distribution of uveitic type, gender, age, etiology, visual acuity, recurrence and complications. Methods:Collect 144 cases of patients with 184 eyes from September 2015 to December2016 in hospital.Record the gender, age, visual acuity, clinical diagnosis, recurrence and complications.Statistical analysis were carried out.Results:(1)Uveitic type distribution: According to the anatomical diagnosis, anterior uveitis was noted 56.1%,intermediate uveitis 2.78%,posterior uveitis 8.33%,and panuveitis 29.17%.There were 60.42 percent of the patients with acute uveitis,39.58% cases with chronic uveitis and 45.83% cases with recurrent uveitis.(2)Gender distribution: The ratio of male to female was 1.76:1.And anterior uveitis was 1.39:1.All of Intermediate uveitis and posterior uveitis were male.Panuveitis was 1.33:1.(3)Age distribution: The age ranged from 17 to 83 years. The average age was(43.44 ± 15.55)years.And anterior, intermediate, posterior and panuveitis was(41.49 ± 15.98),(38 ± 3.46),(36.5 ± 16.51),(49.95 ± 13.09)years respectively. The incidence of less than 20 years of age accounted for 6.94%.Among 20-60 years accounted for 77.78%.Age more than 60 years of age accounted for 15.28%.(4)Etiology distribution: According to the pathogenic diagnosis, there were 50%with idiopathic uveitis.Idiopathic anterior uveitis, seronegative spondylarthropathies associated with anterior uveitis,glaucomato-cyclitic syndrome were the main types of anterior uveitis.Intermediate, posterior uveitis were idiopathic uveitis.Idiopathic panuveitis and VKH syndrome were the main types of panuveitis.(5)Visual distribution: There were 36.96% eyes of the best corrected visual acuity more than 0.5.The visual impairment(0.3 ≤ BCVA ≤ 0.5)was 27.17%,the level of Low vision(0.05 < BCVA < 0.3)was 20.65%,and the blindness level(≤0.05)was 15.22%.After receiving treatment, there were 65.21% eyes of the best corrected visual acuity more than 0.5.The visual impairment(0.3 ≤ BCVA ≤ 0.5)was 11.96%,the level of Low vision(0.05 < BCVA < 0.3)was 14.13%,and the blindness level(≤0.05)was 8.7%.(6)Recurrence distribution: The average recurrence time was 43.2 months, and the ratio of male to female was 2.67:1.The average age was(46.64 + 14.60)years.The recurrence rate of anterior, posterior and panuveitis was 39.53%、83.33%、53.38%respectively.The Intermediate uveitis had no recurrence. After receiving treatment, there were 25% eyes of best corrected visual acuity with recurrence more than 0.5.The visual impairment(0.3 ≤ BCVA ≤ 0.5)was 7.61%,the level of Low vision(0.05< BCVA < 0.3)was 9.78%,and the blindness level(≤ 0.05)was 5.43%.(7)Complication distribution: The ratio of male to female was 2.67:1 in patients with complications.Ocular complications mainly included macular edema(33.33%),complicated cataract(25%),posterior synechia(25%),secondary,glaucoma(19.44%).After receiving treatment, there were 45.64% eyes of best corrected visual acuity with complications more than 0.5.The visual impairment(0.3 ≤ BCVA ≤ 0.5)was 19.57%,the level of Low vision(0.05 < BCVA < 0.3)was 19.57%,and the blindness level(≤0.05)was 23.91%.Conclusions:(1)Uveitis mainly occured middle-aged men,and different types had different gender distribution.(2)The study shows that the anterior uveitis was most common, the panuveitis was secondary, the posterior uveitis and intermediate uveitis were rare. The seronegative spondylarthropathies associated with anterior uveitis,VKH syndrome,glaucomato-cyclitic syndrome were the most common etiology.(3)In the study, the visual acuity damaged in varying degrees, and made certain blindness. After treatment, anterior uveitis visual acuity prognosis was good, but there still had the risks of blindness. The recovery of visual acuity with intermediate and posterior uveitis was limited.Panuveitis was easy to cause blindness.(4)The recurrence patients were mainly middle-aged men.The highest recurrence rate was anterior uveitis, followed by panuveitis. The recurrence of the disease affected vision prognosis, and had certain damage to various types of uveitis eyesight.(5)In the study, the ocular complications were mainly men.The common complications was posterior synechia, complicated cataract, secondary glaucoma and ME.Different types of complications leaded to different complications. The complications of the disease affected vision acuity. The recurrence of the disease affected the occurrence of complications. |
